THERE SHE STANDS. On the platform she has been standing on many times, but it never failed to make the butterflies in her stomach flutter from excitement. Parents waving their children goodbye, a few tears here and there, the smell of the smoke from the train, running children trying to get a good spot in the train and of course her own parents who tried not to cry. Everything was all so familiar to her, yet it felt like she was going on a new journey. In a way she was, every year at Hogwarts meant new adventures and new stories to tell. The memories she had made here were cherished by her. She took a deep breath, the smoke filling her nosetrills, and turned around. The sight of her mum desperately trying not to cry and her dad, who didn't even notice her mum was crying, looking around amazed by everything and everyone around here was absolutely hilarious. See, Chloe her parents are muggleborns. They live in a small town and never knew this all existed until she got her Hogwarts letter. She sighed knowingly, this exact moment has happened every year.

"I really got to go," she said while hugging her mum. Her mum sniffed and wiped some tears away.

"Good luck, sweetheart. We'll see you soon. Love you," her mum said to her as she watched Chloe hug her dad. "Try to get into some detention this year. What is detention like at Hogwarts? Write me a letter all about it!" her dad joked, making her mum groan.

"Write us, dear!" her dad yelled as she grabbed her luggage. Chloe smiled and nodded, ready to write some dramatic letters to them already. She waved them goodbye and after a few 'I love you's she walked towards the train. As soon as she stepped in, some first years almost knocked her over by running past all the compartments. She grinned at the memory of her first time on the train where she accidentally locked herself up in a compartment. Chloe started looking for an empty compartment. As soon as she found one, she rushed inside and closed the door. She dropped her luggage on the couch across from her, and her three guitars next to her. Each guitar was covered by a black case. She had one ukulele, an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar. She had a big passion for music and she couldn't go to Hogwarts without her guitars. It's the only thing she loves to do besides writing. She hoped her friends, Jasmine and Brooke, would arrive soon. As if they heard her thoughts they came rushing into the compartment.

"Well hello, weirdo," Jasmine grinned pushing her luggage on the couch, taking a seat next to Chloe. Brooke pushed Jasmine her luggage of the small couch, and took a seat accros them. "Hello, stranger," Brooke said, smiling. Jasmine scoffed while pointing at her luggage on the ground.

"Hello, you two," Chloe laughed. Jasmine her brown eyes lit up at her greeting. Her dark brown skin was glowing and her frizzy hair bounced by ever move she made. Brooke wasn't as pale as usual, she even got a summer tan. Her dark hair glimmered and in her eyes you could see twinkles. Jasmine took Chloe her red small hat and grinned.

"Catch it!," Jasmine exclaimed and threw it at her. She could've easily catch it before—since Chloe is way taller than Jasmine—but this way is more fun, right? As soon as she caught it, she put it back on. The hat was a gift from her parents she got in last Summer. Speaking about last Summer..

"How was your vacation?" Chloe asked the two. Jasmine and Brooke shared knowing looks, which Chloe didn't even notice. The girls laughed and shared stories about their adventures. The train made some noises before it started moving. A warm smile made its way on their faces, it's the start of a new year.
