Today's Saturday.

Although I was taking a week's leave from work anyways, it made me feel good to know that Hinata could spend the entire day with me. He told me that he works every day of the week except Saturdays.

I looked at him.

He was sprawled out overtop of me, hugging my lower torso and with his head laying just beneath mine.

Fuck. He's so cute.

I felt him breathe in and out on my chest.

Even though I had to go to the bathroom, I decided to hold it. He just looked so peaceful that I didn't want to wake him.

I watched while his mouth made an "O" shape as he exhaled. For a second, he stopped moving and let out a small snore.

It almost felt impossible, how someone could look this adorable while completely unaware, not to mention asleep.

I ran my fingers through his hair. It felt nice, like how you'd expect one of those really fluffy, soft-looking puppies to feel.

He must really take care of this. Well, obviously, since he owns a salon for a living.

But it felt as though even if he didn't, it would still be like this. It just felt so natural on him.

I checked out the clock. It read 8:34 AM.

I wondered if there was a way to get up without waking him, that way I could start breakfast.

The first thing I tried was slowly lifting him and putting him beside me. That didn't work, because the moment I moved him he immediately started squirming around in the bed as if he was about to be woken up.

Second thing I tried was replacing myself with a pillow before he noticed. But when I tried that method, well, he noticed.

I rolled away, put a large pillow in between his two arms, and got up from the bed.

Once I got up, I heard a voice coming from behind me.

"This isn't Kageyama..."

I turned around.

He was smiling at me drowsily. "Good morning."

I sighed. "Morning."

He brought his hands up and signaled for me to come back in bed with him. I hugged him first, then went under the covers next to him.

"What a cheap shot Kageyama! You can't replace yourself that easily!"

I laughed. "Sorry. I wanted to make you breakfast before you woke up."

He smiled. "I don't care about breakfast! I just wanna wake up with you!"

Him saying that made me blush. "That's stupid."

He laughed.

Next, I laid down and put him on top of me. "Alright, fine."

He giggled. "Fine?"

"Just go back to sleep. Let's try this again."

...

Once we finished our breakfast, I went into the bathroom to check out the stitches on my forehead.

First I removed the bandage the doctor put on yesterday.

I think I'm supposed to change it anyway.

I noticed it was already starting to heal, which was good. The cut on my lip was doing better as well.

But I thought about it for a moment.

If this guy's single punch caused me to need ten stitches, just who the hell is he? And what could he have done to Hinata? I mean, he barely even knew me and did this.

Fuck. He doesn't just have anger issues. He's really dangerous.

I heard Hinata call from the other room.

"Kageyama! How's your face doing? Let me put some ointment on!"

I sighed and walked into the kitchen, where he was standing there with the first aid kit.

"It's already starting to heal a bit actually." I sat down.

Hinata went back and forth around the kitchen, fiddling with something. "That's good. Oh, and you should take another half a pill in..." He looked at the clock. "About four hours."

I nodded.

He washed his hands, then walked over to me with the tube of ointment. First, he examined the cut above my brow. "You're right, it does look better!" He smiled. "That's good."

I smiled back. "Yeah."

As he began applying the stuff over the cut, I looked at him, careful not to move.

"So... your ex. Does he have some crazy powers or some shit? I mean, how'd he do this to my face with one punch?"

I felt him freeze.

"Ah, sorry, I don't want to pry. I know you don't like talking about him."

He continued putting on the ointment. "No, it's okay. I know he had a... rough past, I guess you could call it. Probably why he's so violent now. But I didn't learn 'till after we broke up that he actually had a criminal record for a long time, even before we met. It's crazy."

"Actually, I know what you mean. When I used to live in a group home, I knew plenty of dudes who were like that."

He nodded. Once he was finished putting the cream on, he put a large bandaid across my head, then took my hand. "You know, we could... press charges. If you want."

I shook my head. "No. It's okay. I can pay for the treatment, and I'll recover from this soon enough. I honestly think it's better if we just move on, and not add insult to injury, you know? Plus, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to be in contact with him anyways."

Hinata let out a relieved exhale. "I was actually thinking the same thing."

Still holding hands, I squeezed his.

"Although... I think it would be a good idea for you to file a restraining order against him."

"You're right."

"...Really?"

"Really."

He let go, only to look at me. "Kata-Chan actually suggested the idea when we broke up a few months ago. At the time, I said no, but... now? After what he did to you?"

He looked down. "You're right. I need to do this."

He hugged me and I hugged back,

never wanting to let him go.
