Time to get ready for work.

I woke up before my alarm clock even went off.

I figured I wouldn't wake Hinata until I was finished showering. I knew he'd probably be upset because he didn't get to see the sunrise, but I wanted him to get some more sleep.

I was anxious.

I knew Hinata would probably be fine on his own... but this is the first time we'll be apart since... well, the day we went to see the cherry blossoms.

I sighed.

It's gonna be okay. Just a couple of hours at work, and once we're done we can see each other again.

Once I was finished with my shower, I looked at the clock. It read 6:35 AM.

Guess I should wake him now.

I started by opening the blinds. The sun was already up.

Then I walked to Hinata's side of the bed and left kisses on his nose, both his cheeks, his forehead, and finally his lips.

He smiled drowsily. "Morning Kageyama-Kun." Then with both hands, he pulled me down to him by the collar to kiss again.

"Time to get up. I figured I'd shower ahead of you today and let you get some more sleep."

He nodded, sitting up and letting out a small yawn.

"So today's the big day, huh? Going back to work?"

I nodded. "Yup. Hopefully, this won't give me any unwanted attention," I said, pointing to the bruises on my face. The bruises were starting to heal, though still far from inconspicuous. The only thing that was fully healed was my lip, and the scar above my brow no longer had stitches but was still noticeable.

Hinata walked over to me, sighing, and hugged my torso. "Unfortunately, I think it will.

But hey, maybe it'll make you seem cool and mysterious."

"I don't give a shit about looking cool."

He laughed. "That's what makes you cool."

"You think I'm cool?"

He grinned. "What happened to, "I don't give a shit about looking cool"?"

"Well, I don't care about what other people think, but you..." I looked off to the side.

Hinata's head shot up. "Huh?"

I blushed in embarrassment.

"Aww, Kageyama! You care about what I think?"

I sighed and wrapped my arms around him. "Well, Yeah. Course I do."

He giggled. "Then for the record, I think you're very cool."

I kissed Hinata goodbye and walked out the door.

Here we go.

I arrived at the building, and walked into the lobby.

I could already feel the stares.

Normally I wouldn't be so conscious of them, but all of these people knew me.

So naturally, it felt pretty strange when they were all looking at me. The eyes on me were intense, maybe curious, like I was some wild animal. One that must have only left the zoo for my day job. All I could do was try my best to ignore them.
