y/n pov * ◌༉‧i woke up to a loud noise and sat up, stretching and rubbing my eyes before getting out of bed.
"sorry, morning," stella said. i turned around and saw her sitting on her bed.
"morning," i replied with a big smile.
"nathan is getting ready, so if you want, i can help you change?" she asked, and i nodded.
"okay, so you're going to put on the collar first, then tie the tie, and then the vest. you can put on the vest if you want; it's optional. finally, the robe!" she explained. i nodded, putting on the collared shirt.
"do you need help with the tie?" stella asked.
"yes, please." i replied, and she smiled.
"i had trouble with it too, but nathan taught me. it's very easy once you start doing it every day." she said, tying the tie. i laughed.
"perfect!" she smiled. i quickly put on my robe and straightened out my uniform.
"oh my! you look so pretty," she squealed, and i laughed at her excitement.
"thank you," i said.
"wanna do something with your hair?" she asked.
"do we have time?" i asked.
"yeah, it's like six o'clock. breakfast doesn't start until seven thirty," she said, and i nodded.
i brushed out my hair, and stella started styling it.
"ladies," nathan walked in.
"nathan." we both said at the same time.
"morning. let me know when you're ready so i can show you around," nathan told me, and i nodded.
"done!" stella said. i looked in the mirror. she had done a half-up, half-down style with an emerald green velvet bow.
"that looks gorgeous! thank you," i smiled at her.
"come on before breakfast starts," nathan said. i waved goodbye to stella as she waved back.
as we were walking down the steps, i saw draco on the couch with his friends.
"hey, y/n!" draco waved. i waved back and continued with nathan.
"wait, where are you guys going?" draco asked, standing up.
"oh, nathan wanted to show me around," i told him.
"isn't it too early?" draco asked.
"does it matter, malfoy?" nathan said from behind me.
"yes, it does," draco said, giving nathan a dirty look. nathan dragged me outside the common room.
"don't worry too much about him," nathan said. i nodded as he showed me around before breakfast.
"that's the quidditch field! we have a game tomorrow against gryffindor," he explained.
"oh, that's nice!" i said, looking at the hoops.
"stella loves the games. she gets so excited," nathan told me, and i laughed.
we were about to walk back when we heard rustling in the bushes. we both looked at the bush.
"weird, it's not very windy," nathan said, shrugging. we headed to the great hall.
"hey, how'd it go?" stella asked.
"good. this place is so huge," i replied.
"it is," she laughed. "by the way, draco was spying on you guys. he's not very slick," stella laughed.
