Y/N POV
i was walking down the stairs with my best friends violet and stella to the great hall for dinner.
we were talking about potions class until i saw blaise walk up to me.
"y/l/n." blaise called. i looked up.
"yes." i responded. he took out a piece of paper.
"here. malfoy wanted me to give you this." blaise said, handing me the paper.
"thanks." i said to him, smiling as he nodded and walked away.
"open it." stella said excitedly. i laughed at her excitement.
i opened the paper and started to read it.

"awwwww. look at the heart." stella said, pointing at the little heart by his name.
"twelve o'clock? y/n, don't you think that's a little late?" violet asked.
"i'll just sneak out." i told her. she nodded as we walked down the stairs to the great hall.

i was eating my chicken until i felt someone tap my shoulder.
"ethan, stop playing around." i said, playfully punching his belly. he laughed.
"so you have a boyfriend?" he asked.
"no." i responded. he laughed.
"you have a boy in mind?" he asked again. the first boy i thought of was draco.
"maybe." i answered.
"is it me?" he asked, smirking as he put his arm around me. i slowly took his arm off.
"in your dreams." i said with a fake smile. he scoffed and went back to talking to his friend.
"draco saw the whole thing." stella said while giggling. i turned around and saw him looking at me with a jealous face. i turned back.
"cute." i mumbled, and violet heard.
"just date already." she said, playfully shaking me. i laughed at her.

i was walking back up to my common room with violet and stella. we rushed into our dormitory and locked the door.
"we need a plan so snape won't catch you or anyone else." stella said.
"well." violet smirked. we looked at her.
"if there's people downstairs, we'll distract them so you can meet malfoy." she explained. we agreed and waited until the time came.

"it's cold outside. here, take the hoodie." violet said, about to toss me my robe, but stella snatched it from her hands.
"no. draco will give her his jacket or robe." stella said.
i groaned. "it's almost twelve. come on." i told them as we left our dorm and walked down the stairs. there was a group of people nearby.
"we'll distract them. go." violet said. i nodded as they walked up to the group and started talking.
i quietly slipped out and managed to sneak away.

i walked up the stairs and finally made it to the astronomy tower.
i saw draco standing there like he'd been waiting.
"hey." i said out loud. he flinched. i laughed. "i'm so sorry if i scared you." i said.
he chuckled. "no, it's okay." he said with a smile. "come sit." he told me, and we sat on the step.
"you wanted to tell me something?" i asked him. he shook his head.
"uh, okay." he said while taking a breath. i laughed softly.
"since first year, i've liked you. i've adored you. you're so beautiful and kind that i've fallen for you." he said. i froze. "it's okay if you don't like me back. i understand." he added, starting to get up, but i grabbed his arm and pulled him back down.
"draco, you didn't even let me talk." i said, laughing. "i like you too, draco. since second year, actually." i told him. he sighed in relief.
"then y/n, would you like to be my girlfriend?" he asked. i shook my head.
"yes." i smiled, and he gave me a big smile.
he pulled me into a hug, and i snuggled into his embrace because it was really cold outside.
"are you cold?" he asked. i nodded. he took off his sweater and put it on me. it was warm now.
"come on. let's go before we get caught." he said. i nodded.
we turned to leave—then we saw snape.
"crap." i mumbled.
"you two shouldn't be here. i command you to go to your common room now." he said. we nodded and quickly left the astronomy tower.
