A lot of people suffer from jealousy and envy which is one of the very dangerous characteristics one can have. This is the characteristic of Satan who felt envious of Adam (as) in heaven which made his arrogant and consequently he was expelled from Allah's mercy.
You don't want to be expelled from Allah's mercy. Right? So beware of the jealousy and envy.
The Prophet ﷺ said,
"Do not hate each other, do not envy each other, do not turn away from each other, but rather be servants of Allah as brothers." (Sahih Muslim 2559)
"It was said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): "Which of the people is best?" He said: "Everyone who is pure of heart and sincere in speech.' They said: "Sincere in speech, we know what this is, but what is pure of heart?' He said: "It is (the heart)thay is pious and pure, with no sin, injustice, rancor or envy in it."
(Ibn Maiah 4216 | Sahih)
So, don't be jealous of the blessings someone has been given by Allah, rather be grateful to Allah for whatever He has blessed you with.
If you feel jealous of someone's beauty, someone's wealth, or anything, you should make the instant dua for them and should say, "May Allah bless him or her with more!" , and if you do so, the angels would say "Ameen and same for you."
The Prophet ﷺ said,
"No Muslim servant supplicates for his brother behind his back but that the angel says: And for you the same." (Sahih Muslim 2732)
You see? This is how you can take advantage of your jealousy and Angels would make same dua for you Inn Shaa Allah!
By the way, in Islam it is not permissible to wish to be like someone expect in two cases
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not wish to be like anyone expect in two cases. ( The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Qur'an) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others." ( Sahih Bukhari 73)
So, only these are the characteristics one can feel jealous of, and can wish to have in oneself.
Feeling jealous of someone's beauty wealth, health and so on is not good. Indeed Allah imparts His blessings upon whom He wills.
So, you should give thanks to Allah for whatever blessings you have been given as Allah ﷺ says, "Of you give Me thanks, I will give you more." (Quran 14:7)
