I remember this one time I sat on the prayer may after a very long time, I felt this overwhelming feeling over me, tears started palling down my cheeks and I just so sobbed, uncontrollably. I asked Allah for forgiveness, I asked His to forgive me for not going to Him sooner. I bawled my eyes out like a little vulnerable child, I will never forget that feeling, it made me feel so sad that even though I turned away from Him, He was always there for me no matter what. I waited away many times but Allah was always there, waiting for me to come back to Him and pray to Him. Subhaan'Allah, that feeling has stayed with me, Allah had always been there for me especially when I've not been s loyal servant towards Him. Indeed, Allah is the most merciful and He is the most forgiving.
