When making du'aa, put aside every fear and worry you have, I know it's hard not to worry and I know you feel like nothing is going as you've planned it. Buy remembering that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is the best planners is a serious game changer. When you start putting your trust In Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and make sincere du'aa from the bottom of your heart, asking Allah to do what is best for you even if it means you are tested in ways you never thought you would be tested. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala knows what is good for you and He knows when to give it to you. When making du'aa, ask Him to do what is best for you and ask Him to change your heart so you solely rely on Him rather than relying on His creations.
