Six weeks passed.

It felt like such a long time to spend in the hospital with their puppies.

Yet they didn't miss any day to visit them, spending their free weekends in the hospital and in Edward's case, he even brought his work to the ICU room.

Louis was happy to finally be back, their nursery was longing for the puppies. The three cribs from dark wood were standing proudly in the room, while the walls were painted in soft yellow colour.

The house was definitely feeling different as the miracle of life brought the noises, cries and laughter brightened it.

There was also another thing that happened in the spare of three weeks.

Niall gave birth too.

It has been an eventful night for the mates. Louis was with Harry in the ICU room, watching over their sleeping puppies - well Louis was, Harry fell asleep with his head set comfortably in Louis' lap.

When the Omega's phone rang and he picked up, he shot up from his seat. Harry had to take his time to get happy about the whole situation, let's just say he hit his head quite hard.

Louis recalls the phone call like it was yesterday. Liam called him while he was driving to the hospital and Louis had to yell at him to drive safely. Louis could hear Liam's nervousness linked with excitement clearly.

Louis then quickly gathered everyone else, calling Edward and Gigi with Zayn, breaking the news to them.

As soon as Louis said all of his goodbyes to his cute little puppies and moved with Harry towards the delivery rooms, Liam was already standing outside in the waiting room.

,,How is he?" Louis rushed towards Liam to give him a big hug.

,,He kicked me out of the room." Liam laughed.

,,What?" Harry asked, confused.

,,I'm just kidding, Niall wanted me to wait on you guys." Liam chuckled as Louis hit his broad chest. ,,He said that he wouldn't give birth unless you're there."

As Louis stepped into the room he was met with Niall. His face was red, his blond hair was sticking to his forehead because of the sweat. He was breathing heavily, unsteady and hurt expression adoring his face.

Louis ran to Niall's side, taking his hand into his own and squeezing lightly. ,,It's alright, breathe for me."

,,It fucking hurts." Niall yelled.

It could have been the first time Louis heard Niall swear like this. Since they knew each other Louis knew how Niall hates swearing and now, hearing him do it made it funny.

Yet Louis didn't dare to laugh.

,,You're doing great sweetie." the doctor smiled as she walked into the room.

And that's how Ian James and Isabella Juniper Payne were brought to the world.

Louis couldn't forget the joy he saw in both, Niall and Liam, as the doctor announced to them that they have a girl.
