I whirl around and see the person I least expected to see.

“Sebastian! By the Angel, what are you doing here?”

“Well of course there could be only one reason I would come to an old abandoned church and that is to see you, little brother. The question is, why are you here?”
“That is none of your business.” I say in an agitated tone, “Now, what on earth do you want from me?”

“What if I told you that this is not a matter of earth, but a matter of the worlds beyond? I have come to ask a favor of you, Jace.” He said mysteriously.

“Why would I ever help you? In this life or the next I would never help you. Even if your head was in another room then your body and you asked me to help you, I would never help you.” I snapped.

“Well, doesn’t that seem a little harsh? I came to ask you if you would accept my plea for mercy.”

"Why would you want mercy from me? Shouldn't it be the other way around? You did kill like a lot of people." I stated matter-of-factly.

"Well, you see, that's just it. Apparently my 'Evil Doer's To-Do List' was not as quite up to your standards as I thought it would be. You people just do not like when a few hundred people die for politics. For me, it's a small price to pay to get what I believe in. As for you, Jace, you care to much about the ones around you to give up a simple sacrifice."

"I would give my life up to save someone I love."

"But would you give up someone you loved for something you strongly believed in? When you come up with an answer for me, just give me a message through that rune on your chest. It should contact me."

And with that, he spun on his heals and walked away.
