'Prologue'

The night had finally come. The night that would make Sunset Curve's dreams finally come true. The night to change all nights―for the better.

Alex, the band's drummer, banged his drumsticks together, "One, two, three!"

Take off, last stop
Countdown 'til we blast open the top
Face first, full charge
Electric hammer to the heart

At the Orpheum's entrance doors, a blonde clambered in, panting heavily as the door shut behind her.

Clocks move faster
'Cause it's all we're after now, oh

"I'm with the band," she took a demo out of her pocket. "Beverly―"

"Go on in," the woman behind the booth smiled, remembering the band's many reminders about their 'roadie' with punctuality issues who would be arriving before the showcase.

Won't stop climbing
'Cause this is our time, yeah
When all the days felt black and white
Those were the best shades of my life

Heaving, Beverly reached the room in which the music was coming from. The boys didn't seem to notice her arrival yet as they looked ahead at the open seating area where workers were setting up for the band's showcase.

Don't look down
'Cause we're still rising
Up right now

The first to take notice of her arrival was Alex, whose grin widened as he saw his sister mouth, 'Don't choke', a teasing smile playing on her lips. He rolled his eyes and looked away, her eyes wandered over to Luke, who shot her a friendly wink and then to Bobby, who smiled appreciatively.

And even if we hit the ground
We'll still fly

"You close with them?" Came a voice behind her.

She turned to see a pretty light-skinned brunette standing behind her and looked over her shoulder at the band, "Yeah. My brother's the drummer."

Keep dreaming like we'll live forever
But live it like it's now or never

We ain't searching for tomorrow (Tomorrow)

She turned to look at her older brother and smiled fondly, he returned it, enjoying his moment of spotlight behind his drum set.

'Cause we got all we need today (Today)

Her eyes flickered over to Reggie, the bassist, who never seized to amaze her with his seemingly effortless guitar-playing and singing skills.
