'Finally Free'

Standing by the bar, Beverly took a look around at the now only vaguely familiar establishment. The place was lit up by stage lights and what seemed to be white Christmas lights circling the pillars on either side of the stage.

"Hey, there's Flynn," Reggie pointed across the room to where the girl seemed to be scanning the crowd.

"She's looking for Julie," Bev pointed out, bouncing on her heels.

"You think she'll make it?" Alex asked anxiously, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"She'll be here," Luke assured them.

The announcer took a look at the clipboard and said, "Give it up for 'The Stupid Excellents'!"

The band of four got off the stage, sweating heavily while high-fiving each other and approaching a table somewhere off to the side of the room. While Bev and Reggie stood behind the bar, inspecting the numerous bottles of alcohol and laughing at the funny names, Luke and Alex exchanged knowing looks.

"So, is there something you two wanna tell us?" Alex gave the two pointed looks, putting a halt to their laughter over 'Grey Goose'.

"Like?"

Luke smirked and pointed at Bev, "Like why you're wearing Reggie's jacket."

"Next up, 'Dirty Candy'."

Their faces flushed, they exchanged baffled looks and spouted wordless nonsense, their bandmates watched in amusement. Beside the stage, Beverly spotted Julie and Flynn and let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh, uh, there's Julie," she grabbed Reggie's hand and poofed them behind her and Flynn.

Luke and Alex appeared beside them only seconds later, their attention drawn away from his bandmates, whose attention had also drifted over to the group on stage.

Not tryin' to brag, brag
But I'm flawless
I'm taking over your playlist
Ain't perfect but I can't miss, yeah
The party don't start 'til I walk in
I'm stealing all the attention

Suddenly, Alex appeared on the stage, Julie turned to the phantoms with a quizzical look, they merely shrugged and returned their attention to the stage.

Don't get me started on mentions, yeah

Her eyes widened slightly when she saw Alex smile and dance along with Carrie and her group, though she would be lying if she said she didn't enjoy the added entertainment.

Some might say I sound conceited
They don't get the shine that I get
Some get jealous
They can't help it
They wish they were me, oh
