Y/n Pov

After arriving back at the bunker last night I decided just to sleep in one of the spare rooms and give Dean some space. We're definitely going to talk but he seemed so upset that I wasn't sure if he wanted the company or not. I'm sure I'm the last person on earth he wants to see right now.

Waking up this morning isn't as happy as I thought it'd be. Today is our anniversary but it's ruined now. We've never not celebrated an anniversary before. Every year he never ceases to amaze me with the outrageous gifts he gets me. This year I got him a gift that's very meaningful to us. Now I'm afraid to give it to him.

There was a sudden knock on the door and I called for them to come in. It opened slowly and in walked Sam. "Hey uh Jack, Cas, and I are going on that hunt. Is there anything you need before we go?" He asked. I shook my head no and thanked him. He nodded and exited the room. Today is just going to be awkward and horrible for Dean and I.

I want to apologize and explain everything to him but he probably doesn't want to see me. Sighing I decided to get up and grab me a cup of coffee. Upon making my way into the kitchen I found Dean sitting at the table staring blankly at his mug. When he noticed me walk into the room no words left his lips.

He looked depressed and uncomfortable. I poured my cup and took a sip from it. Just as I started to walk out of the room I heard him say my name. It caused me to turn and look at him and his beautiful green eyes. He stood in front of me, so close but yet still far away.

"Cas came into my room last night and explained the whole situation to me. I'm sorry for the way I acted. We're not in high school anymore and I should have just talked to you." He apologized.

"I'm sorry too Dean. I'm in love with you and I would never cheat on you let alone with your best friend." I assured him. He nodded understandingly. "I know." After a moment of silence he wrapped his arms around me tightly and hugged me. I rested my head on his chest as I hugged him back just as tight.

I did miss being in his arms. He pulled slightly away so he could tuck a piece of hair behind my ear and cup my cheek in his hand. He slowly began to lean in and placed his soft plump lips on mine. It was the most heated and passionate kiss we've probably ever shared. His body pressed firmly against mine as our lips crashed into each other's.

Finally, we both pulled away breathless and smiled at one another. "You don't know how much I've missed that." He mumbled.

"I think I have a pretty good idea," I teased making him grin. The two of us then decided to spend our anniversary inside baking, watching movies, and sharing the love we have for each other. It went from a bad to perfect day within minutes and I couldn't be more happy.
