Y/n Pov

I heard an annoyed sigh come from beside me and looked over to see Dean closing his computer. We've been working on a case for months and for some reason keep finding dead ends. This case is just Dean and me because Sam and Cas are following a lead in Colorado.

Currently, Dean and I are staying in a motel while we figure out what our next move is. "Do you wanna take a break? Maybe go get some food?" I suggested just to take our minds off it for a while. He shook his head no and gave me a small smile.

"No, thanks y/n. I'm just gonna go get some sleep." He said. I nodded and watched as he went into the bathroom to get ready for bed. While he decided to sleep I just kept working hoping to find anything to help us. We've never had a case this difficult before and we've been up against a lot before.

Hours passed and I'd found nothing. It's getting late and I'm tired so I think I'm gonna sleep too. As I stood from the chair I heard a loud crashing sound come from outside. It caused me to jump and pull out my gun. Slowly I made my way to the door and opened it as carefully as possible.

When it fully opened my eyes widened seeing the windows of Dean's car smashed in. Oh boy, he's going to be so pissed. I went outside and tried to investigate and it just looks like someone took a blunt object to it. Nothing supernatural about this.

Once I turned around to go back inside I was stopped. There's this man dressed in all black standing in front of me. He's wearing a dark black mask that covers his face, so I have no idea who this person is. "Who are you? Did you do this?" I asked referring to the car. He shook his head yes as he pulled his gun out on me.

"Put the gun down or I will shoot you." I glared at him. My gun is held high and ready to shoot if he tries something. Suddenly all I heard was the screaming sound of a gunshot and stood there for a second. The moment I looked down and saw that I've been shot is when I fell to the ground.

My body started shutting down and it became hard to breathe. "Hey!" I hear a voice yell. It sounded so faded that I'm not sure who it was. The man ran away as I was left laying on the ground staring up at the stars. Seconds later Dean was next to me calling the police.

"Stay with me y/n, I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." He assured me.

"So beautiful," I whispered out. He frowned wondering what I was talking about. "T-The stars, they're b-beautiful." I choked out. My eyes started closing slowly as my breathing faded.

"Damn it y/n stay awake!" Dean yelled. That's all I remembered when everything else went dark.

My eyes slowly opened and all I could see was a blinding light. It caused me to flinch until they finally adjusted. I looked around the room and felt so happy to see Cas sitting in the chair next to my bed. Sam and Dean sat on the couch that's on the opposite side.

"Y/n?" Cas smiled seeing me awake. Sam and Dean stood to their feet and came over to me. "Are you alright?" Cas asked as he looked me over. I nodded my head and frowned confused.

"How long was I out for?" I asked as I rubbed my tired eyes.

"Two days." Dean sighed. Cas asked if he could have a moment alone with me and the boys agreed before leaving to get some coffee. As soon as the door closed Cas looked at me and sighed relieved.

"I'm so happy your okay. I don't know what I would have done if I lost you." He told me and it made me slightly smile. "You just mean so much to me and when Dean called saying you were hurt it...it killed me." He admitted.

I reached up and cupped his cheek in my fragile hand. "I'm sorry baby but you're stuck with me." I grinned. He only chuckled and leaned down to place a soft kiss on my lips. I happily returned that kiss before pulling away.

"Please don't ever leave me." He begged.

"I won't," I promised.
