Y/n povI watched the trees pass us by and noticed we're almost back to the bunker. Sam and Dean were quiet up front while I sat in the backseat next to Jack. Cas didn't come on this hunt because he's busy searching for our current monster that we can't find. This last hunt was pretty dangerous and Cas asked me nicely not to go because he felt worried something would happen to me.
I told him I'd be fine and I'm going. He then pleaded me not to go until I caved and said yes. But last minute I decided to go and well here we are. Now a huge fight is coming when I get back. He's going to be pissed when he sees me even though he already knows I left. He blew Sam's phone up asking for me.
I answered one of his calls and asked him to stop calling and told him that I'm fine. "Cas is going to be pissed." Dean pointed out from the drivers seat. He glanced back at me with a small nervous smile on his face.
"Shut up I know," I sighed and he chuckled. Soon we arrived and made our way inside. Cas sat in the library staring down at a lore book. Once he heard us he rushed out of his seat and over to me. As I descended the stairs he had a look of disappointment and hurt on his face. Which made me feel bad but not that bad because I helped someone and saved an innocent kids life.
"What did I say?" He asked as I got to the last step.
"Cas hear me out," I begged and he nodded for me to continue and so I did. That's when everyone else exited the room to give us some privacy. "I had to go it's my job and look I'm okay. But that kid is alive thanks to Dean, Sam, Jack, and I." I told him.
"I'm not asking you to stop hunting but this one thing I asked you not to do...I mean was it so much to ask for?" He looked at me with pure confusion.
"Cas I understand you were scared for me but you've got to understand your not my dad your my boyfriend. You can't tell me what to do." I began getting frustrated but that soon got washed away when these awful words left his mouth.
"Then maybe I shouldn't be your boyfriend." He said.
"What? What are you trying to say?" My anxiety rose and my heart got heavy.
"I'm saying that we need a break." He told me and I shook my head in complete disbelief. No.
"Your that mad at me over something so stupid. Cas this is just one small fight that we can work through. Don't be like that." I begged him not to leave me. My whole life people have left me alone but Cas is different, he promised. He shook his head sadly and looked down at the ground.
"I love you y/n, more than I've ever loved anyone but I'm sorry." He left a soft kiss on my forehead before leaving the bunker. Once everything processed through my mind of what just happened a tear cascaded down my cheek. This can't be real. It all has to be a dream and I'm in some twisted nightmare. Cas wouldn't do this to me because he promised and he never breaks his promises.
"Hey," a voice called and I looked over to see Dean. "You okay?" He asked. I shook my head no as more tears fell. He came over to me and wrapped me in a tight hug. I clung to Dean as he let me cry into his chest. "I can't believe he wanted to breakup with me over something so stupid." I cried to him.
"He's upset but it's Cas, he wouldn't ever do anything to hurt you. He's going to come back and assure you everything is going to be fine," he told as he pulled away and looked at me assuringly. "And hey if he does breakup with you it's his loss. He's losing the most amazing girl in the world."
I thanked Dean and gave him a big hug. Once pulling away I decided to go take a nice long shower then try to get some sleep. I really hope Dean's right and that Cas will at least talk this out with me. I need him.
