Gone (Sasuke Uchiha x reader)

Chapter ten

After my shower, I walked into the guest room in my towel and yawned.

"How was your Shower?" Sasuke asked.

I jumped in surprise and looked at him. "U-uh it was good. Why are you in here?"

Sasuke shrugged. "I just wanna be."

"Can you leave so I can get dressed?"

"Nah," He said with a slight smirk. "I've already seen it all before."

I rolled my eyes and threw my towel at his head before turning my back towards him and getting dressed into one of Naruto's shirts and black sweatpants.

"You look beautiful."

"Sasuke... I look a mess. How?"

"You'll always be beautiful to me. No matter what you look like or wear."

I could feel my cheeks heating up. "Go say that to your wife or something," I mumbled while walking out of the room. I could hear his footsteps behind me until I felt arms wrap around me.

"I've never said it to her before, so why start now?"

I sighed. "Why not? It isn't right."

"_____, is this what everything is gonna be like now? All over again, it'll be me in love with you and you completely ignoring my feelings, except this time, I'm not waiting to tell you my feelings."

I sighed again. This idiot...

"Sasuke," I said as I turned around and caressed his cheek. "I love you, Sasuke, but it just doesn't feel right. You have a wife. I don't wanna mess that up." Sasuke pulled me into a tight hug. "This isn't fair."

I chuckled. "Are you really pouting like a child? Getting married was your decision. Cant, you just be happy? That's all I've ever wanted for you..." I trailed off.

"All I've ever wanted was you."

I couldn't help but chuckle. "Didn't you wanna murder, like, everyone at one point?"

"Shut up."

"Let's just go and watch a movie, okay?"

"Yea. I'll get some snacks from the store, you pick a movie. Do you know how to-?"

"Yes, Sasuke," I said with an irritated tick mark. He chuckled. "I'll be back," He said before leaving the house.

I picked a movie and laid on the couch. Not long after, Sasuke came back. We sat on the couch together and Sasuke had his arms wrapped around me.

"Do you ever think about what would've happened if you hadn't been taken?"

I nodded.

"I wanted us to get married after my journey and you had our first baby, then we would've had a lot more kids and we would've lived at the old Uchiha compound. I thought about knocking everything down and building us a big house. Big enough for us to have 3, 4, maybe even 5 kids with a bunch of space."

"You thought about this a lot huh?"

Sasuke nodded. "We would've lived an amazing life together, whatever obstacles we would face, we would do it together. When all of our kids got older, we would travel as a family and I'd show you all of the amazing things I've seen."

I sighed and looked down at my lap. "You could still do those things."

"I only want to do it with you."

"This... is a complicated situation we're in," I said with a sigh. "No matter what happens, someone will end up hurt."

"What do you mean? Why do you care about anyone else's happiness besides your own anyway? You deserve to finally be happy more than anyone!"
