I was sitting beside a shocked and still half asleep Yoongi, when I turned on the engine.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

That morning, I woke up way earlier than usual, and I knew it was time to get back on the road.

I had decided that, that place, even if it was still really beautiful, had way too many memories who I needed to leave behind me.

As quietly as I could, I collected all the things scattered around, folded the laundry and the small table placed outside.

I then moved to the kitchen, fixing breakfast for both of us, and everything was ready just in time as my alarm when off, with a small groan coming from Yoongi.

I proceed to turn it off, while the singer slipped in the small bathroom; somehow both of us refused to knowledge the presence of the other if we didn't had a trip to the bathroom first.

I greeted him, when he came back out, face clean and hair brushed, and took a sit in front of him.

I poured him a cup of black coffee, with no sugar, exactly how he liked it.

His cheeks getting more rosy, with each sip he was taking, as his body was waking up a little more.

When we were done with our breakfast, I proceeded to clean the dishes, while Yoongi went outside in the sun.

He came back in minutes later, frowning "Why there isn't anything outside?" he asked.

"I cleaned up" I answered, while I paced a soapy plate under the water. "I think it's time to get back on the road".

He nodded, and left me to finish my task.

When all the plates were clean and dried up in the cabinets, I carefully looked around, checking for anything which could fall off and break during the drive.

Satisfied, I locked the drawers, a method I discovered only months later when I first moved into the van, when after some driving around I would find all the stuff rolling around on the floor.

When I was sure everything was in place, I closed the door and called for the boy.

He seemed hesitant to leave that place, taking a look around, almost trying to memorize that beautiful view.

The singer reluctantly followed me, sitting on the passenger seat, that melancholic look still on his face.

"Com'on Yoongi" I said "weren't you the one who wanted to go away?" I asked while fastening my seatbelt.

He nodded, proceeding to do the same.

I turned on the engine, and drove until we were back on the street.

Somehow, it felt strange to be driving after all that time, but for sure, I was enjoying it.

I turned on the radio, turning up the volume as a popular song came blasting through the speakers.

I rolled down the window, and smiled when my hair were moved by the wind.

"besides" I said, turning to the boy "we have to reach your friends, we don't want to leave them waiting for you, don't we?"

In that moment, with wind blowing on our faces, speeding down the empty road, I saw his first real gummy smile.
