I don't know a good title :)

Chapter 1: I met a Dude💛

          "Summer...oh how I wish it almost never ended! Being reckless! Having fun! Hangin' out where ever and whenever we pleased! It feels like only yesterday we were just finally getting out of school!" I told Sage as we were riding our bikes through the neighborhood.
          "Who said we couldn't do all that once we get back to school?" Sage speed up. She was better at riding a bike than me. She was always better, AT ANYTHING! Prettier, smarter, sportier, more popular....the only thing I was better at was my art! But who looks at art anymore anyways? All the boys liked her too, of course I shouldn't be saying this because she's my friend but I always just envy her! I mean whoever guy in the future dates her, he's going to be lucky and better treat her like a QUEEN! Sage also don't put up with BS like I do, she's straight forward so don't get on her bad side!
          We rode through my neighborhood for a while when suddenly I saw...Jax! Gag me with a spoon! I mean he's cute...but ew! I always kinda had a thing for em' since the 6th grade but he was always so rude to me and I never understood why. I mean I didn't do anything to make him mad or sad did I? He's just his own problem...I guess.
         "Hey cuties! What are you 4? Biking is out of style isn't it? Haha!" Jax flipped up his skateboard and his friends started laughing with him.
        "Shut up you sissy's!" Sage snapped back.
        "Wow I'm really scared!" Jax held up his hands "Woah!"
       "Shiver me tImBeRS!" One of Jax's friends interrupted.
      "Come on let's go Sage!" I gave all of them my "death look".
     We turned around and rode back home, hearing them laugh in the distance. The only thing Jax and his friends were good at was riding skateboards and being just plain mean, even if I did like him there would be NO WAY I would EVER date Jax! Someone would have to be out of their mind to date him! I have been crushing on him long enough and hopefully this school year I can finally get over him.

      I woke up the next morning with the phone ringing in my ear. "Oh crap!" I overslept! I was supposed to meet Sage at Smortie's Soda Shop! We go there almost every weekend, sometimes if we are not going we think we are and we'll go up there anyways even though it wasn't even planned! But lemme tell you their milkshakes...mm, mm, mm! They are sooo good! Plus they have a shelf FULL of sodas and you can pick out whichever one you feel like having that day! I would work there except everyone wants to work their so they have no room for me but whatever.
Anyways! This morning was not the way I wanted to wake up. Phone ringing in my ear, slobber running out of my mouth, hair tangled, my eyes were filled with freaking CRUST, I had leftover makeup on from yesterday! I was so not ready to be going out. I didn't feel like it either, I had morning sickness, and no I'm not pregnant! I'm literally a virgin.
People would make fun of me about it, call me Virgin Mary! But honestly I'm glad that I'm still a Virgin and plus there's no one here who I want to lose my virginity to.
      I got dressed as quick as I could, put my headphones on to listen to the Wallows or sum' and rode my bike as fast as I could to Smortie's. I was already 2 minutes late and I hate being late! Especially if my friend is waiting on me.
       "Bro! Why are you so late?!" Sage sat there waiting for me at our "special" table.
       "Sorry! I overslept! I forgot to set my alarm, please forgive me!"
      "How can I forgive you for this! We're done!" Sage got up from the table.
      We paused for a while.
      "You think I'm serious? Haha! That would be freakin' stupid for me to do that! Hahaha! Girl your too naive!"  She sat back down almost choking she was laughing so hard.
      "Bruh! That wasn't funny! You scared me!" I sat down trying to act serious and not laugh with her.
     "I ordered your milkshake for you, oh did you hear about the new guy coming tomorrow! I wonder if he's cute or ugly...knowing our luck he will probably be ug-ly!" Sage kept talking to me but I had my mind sidetracked on someone who walked into the shop.
    "Who is that?" I interrupted her. She turned around "How am I supposed to know? I don't know anyone that good looking!"
  Suddenly it felt like everything around me was a blur, like time had stopped.
This guy was tall (just think of your dream boy and if you can't just go w/ mine!)
and handsome, his eyes were so dreamy and his jaw was chiseled, you could cut cucumbers of how sharp that jawline was! His hands were big (not too big but you know what I mean!) and he looked kind. He was wearing a blue sweater with one of those button downed shirts under it. He kinda looked like a preppy kid but I liked that for a change!
He caught eyes with me and grinned, we looked at each other for a split second but it seemed like it was a whole hour! When he got his soda and walked out of the store I saw that he had a bike, ha-ha Jax! Take that! Cute boy has a bike like me!
     "Um HELLO creep! EARTH TO IVORY!" Sage interrupted my beautiful train of thought. "Um you know your not supposed to stare or else you'll look like a perv!"
    "Well how could you not stare? His wonderful smile and his-"
    "Okay before you get carried away with the "new cute dude" I have to warn you! I think that's the new kid who's going to our school."
     "REALLY!? WHAT!? OMG OMG OMG!" Almost the whole town could hear me.
     "Yeah okay! Relaaax! His personality is probably not gonna be as good as he looks!" Sage tried to calm me down.
     She was probably right so I just tried not to give my hopes up and calm down, what person like him in their right mind would fall for me anyways? I mean I'm nothing like Sage or the other girls at my school! Boys want an outgoing, intelligent, sporty girl who's not afraid of the world or what's out there! And me on the other hand hahaha let's just say...no💛! You could say I'm more uuhhh the opposite. :)
     "Hey maybe later this evening we can take our roller skates and ride around the neighborhood!"  Sage held open the door for me as we walked out of the shop.
     "I'm sorry, Jax and his friends always hang around the neighborhood on Sunday nights remember?" I looked up at the blue sky as we walked around the town, window-shopping.
    "Why are you scared of him? They won't do anything to us! All bark and no bite!" Sage looked like she felt disgusted just talking about them.
