Part 7

Ever since Sage and Levi started tutoring, they have been getting closer. This is just what I imagined, it's only gonna take them a few more days until they completely fall in love. It's all gonna be over with, my dreams have wilted again. Sage steals the boy like always, and I'm left with the scraps like...Jax. I'm tired of this, being in 2nd place all the time.
I was sitting alone at lunch again when Levi and Sage walked up to me and sat down.
Levi nudged Sage, "Um Hey!" Sage tried to make eye contact.
"Hi." I didn't make eye contact though.
"Um so Sage do you have anything to say to Ive?" Levi nudged her again.
"STOP NUDGING ME! It hurts!" Sage scolded. "Oh yeah, look Ive, um,"—
"Hey you guys! May I sit? Thanks!" Sonny inter-feared our conversation. "What-cha guys up to?"
"Hey Sonny"— Levi started.
"What are you guys doing over break?" Sonny gave me her fake smile and stared me down.
"Um nothin really."
"Sounds fun! Oh hey Sage...I need to talk to you for a sec." she looked at Sage like she was about to kill her.
"Um sure" Sonny and Sage left the table, you could tell Sonny was upset at Sage, I couldn't really hear what they were saying.
Sage came back and gave Levi and I a disappointed look, "Sorry I can't sit with you guys, bye!" She walked off without even looking back.
"Uh what is wrong with Sage! She doesn't have to listen to what Sonny tells her to do." Levi shook his head, watching them walk off.
"How's tutoring with Sage going?"
"It's going good! She has really helped me with school." Levi smiled down at his lunch. This is what I thought.
"Cool," I stared at him for a minute silently. I left the table, I really couldn't stand seeing this, I know this is immature of me but I just had to leave.
"Where you going—
"Sorry have to do something." My heart felt like it was slowly slipping away.
I kinda felt numb the whole day, I didn't care if I ran into Sonny or what anybody said to me. Luckily Christmas break is around the corner so I can isolate myself :).
