I don't know a good title :)

Part 2: 1st day of hell🤡

"I honestly don't know how you aren't scared of Jax and his friends, I know we grew up with them but they are a lot stronger than us and I just can't trust them!" I stopped at one of the windows to look at a dress.
"Fine we won't this evening because I honestly don't trust them either!" She looked at me with a sad face and we headed back home.
"Hey! You're Ivory right?" Cute boy smiled at me as I was eating my lunch. "Ya know we could head out of here if you like? I dunno, maybe I could show you around my neighborhood?"
"Um sure!" I looked up at him with a smile as he held at his hand, and yes I grabbed his hand and we rode off into the sunrise and had the best time until...I woke up.
"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! OKAY! Alright you can stop! I'm up! *stupid alarm*!" I woke up feeling absolutely miserable. I wasn't ready to meet cute dude, at least not yet! I have already met him—BUT THAT DOESN'T COUNT! I haven't officially met him...I think...whatever!
*indie music plays in the background while I ride my bike to school* :) (and no I'm not obsessed w/ indie! It's just the vibe/aesthetic of this story)
While I was riding my bike, the cool, fall air felt so good just hitting my face. I closed my eyes for a minute just to take it all in and breathe. "Everything's going to be fine! Your 16! You got this! No more crushing on stupid Jax! It's a fresh start with a fresh guy! And Sage will be there right by your side, phew! AHH!" *almost crashes into cute new dude*
"I'm SO SORRY! DID I HURT YOU!" I jumped off my bike, he looked like he was in pain, but I didn't hit him.
"No sorry you just ran over my toe haha! Wait— aren't you the girl at the soda shop who was staring at me?"
He rose up and combed his fingers through his hair.
"Oh yeah hehe! I saw you and I was trying to figure out who you were like do I know you Oorr? Haha!" I stood there awkwardly laughing for a second.
"Yeah I'm the new kid! Ya know we should probably be heading to class right now so—
"OH YEAH! Pssh! Class! Um see ya there or whatever!" I smiled and quickly got back on my bike. He shook his head with a smile on his face and kept on walking. When i got to the drowsy old school I saw Sage waiting for me at the front entrance "AAHH! SAGE! GUESS WHAT!? YOUR GONNA FREAK!!!" I ran up to her jumping up and down.
"What?" She acted not very excited.
"I talked to cute dude on the way here! I almost ran in to em' with my bike and I was like you good? And he was like you squished my toe! And then it was like kinda awkward...Sage? What's wrong?" I put my arm around her shoulder as a tear fell down her cheek.
"I don't want to talk about it." She held on to the arms of her book bag tightly while looking down at the floor. "You know the routine with my mom and dad."
"Oh Sage! I'm sorry!" I gave her a big hug as the bell rang, "see ya at lunch!" I felt so bad to walk away from Sage, her family is not doing to well, she said it feels like they are slowly breaking apart and she just want to rip what's left of it to get it over with. Her dad you could say isn't the nicest person on earth and her mom isn't much better. Sage said all her mom does is feel sorry for her self, drink, and doesn't do anything for the family anymore, she just looks at herself in the mirror and watches tv. I know! Kinda weird right?
I sat down in my seat right beside Sonny Carter ya know just the prettiest girl in school! What a joy that is right? She has long flowing hair with big blue/green eyes she says they "change colors" with the mood she's in or the clothes she's wearing. Then theirs me over here with poop eyes. As soon as she walks in the room the whole place smells like Bed Bath and Beyond or Victoria Secret. When I'm sitting next to her it looks like comparing a Goblin to a fairy or before and after pictures of someone's plastic surgery. She dated Jax not too long ago, the only reason she did was because she knew I liked him, I honestly don't know how she found out! And she's probably going to get new cute dude too. All it takes is the snap of her fingers and BAM! she gets whatever she wants and the only reason that she's not going to a private school is because this is the only school around so I'm stuck with her until graduation I guess.
Next thing you know as soon as I sit down cute dude walks in and smiles at me. The whole class starts whispering.
"Okay everyone! We have a new student! This is Levi Fletcher." The teacher didn't seem too enthusiastic.
"Levi Fletcher..." I said to myself.
"He needs a place to sit right? And we don't want are new student sitting in the back Mr. Cullen!" Sonny looked at Levi like she was trying to seduce him or something.
"Um it's okay! I'll sit in the back—
"Ivory said she would gladly give up her seat!" Sonny looked at me with her evil grin.
How could I say no? That would be rude so i said "sure!"
So I got all my stuff and headed to far back if the class where the trash can and the weirdos sit. The whole entire class the people who sat beside me were throwing paper balls and trash at me, and I just realized, those spit balls hurt!
Not to mention having to watch Sonny sucking up to Levi the whole class with her little nasal laugh and her beautiful lies! "Omg you like football? Me too! I cheer for the team hehehehe! Hopefully I'll be cheering for you up there too!"
The bell finally rung and class was OVER WITH! YES! My gosh I think that whole entire class was a glimpse of my worst nightmare in real life a.k.a hell!
"SAGE SAGE! How was your day!?" I was trying to catch up with her on my bike, she had already left on her way home without me? I wasn't even late when I got out! In a matter of fact I was early!
"It was fine, yours?" She didn't even look at me and kept biking forward, with me still trying to catch up.
"Mine was awful! I had to sit in the back of class and deal with getting hit by trash and spitballs haha! Sage! Wait up!"
She stopped her bike and waited for me like it was a chore, still not looking at me.
"Um so do you wanna do anything tonight?" I kept looking at her. She said nothing.
"Sage are you even listening to me? Sage what's wrong?"
"MAYBE I JUST WANT TO BE ALONE OKAY?" she said in a harsh manner and speed up her bike.
She left me. Why was she being like this? It's none of my business but I'm her friend...her BEST FRIEND! If there is something going on she should be able to tell me right? She knows always there for her when she needs me to be.
We are like family! At least that's what I thought. Tears fell down my face as I walked with my bike up to my house.
