AFTERWORD

So, that's it.

The end.

No more.

That was the last chapter.

Yes, it's done. That's the end to the story.

And all I want to say is...

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for reading "The First Wielder"!

To me, it means so much to know that there are people who enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it. Especially since this is the first book I published.

There were mistakes along the way, there were some chapters that were "eh", and some that hopefully made you feel the emotions I also felt while I was writing.

I know, "too quick". I know I left it as just that. But that was what I planned the ending to be ever since I thought of writing the first chapter and I'm not planning on changing it. I know I deserve to be hanged at the gallows but please, pardon me.

There are things left unanswered, ranging from Abigail herself and to The Society. I would want to explain everything, promise. But at the same time, I want to leave it to the readers to think what happened or what may have happened. (andIwantedtofinishthestorybeforeIloseinterestinithihooo--)

The reads, comment, votes, being added to a reading list, I didn't expect the book to gain attention but to see those notifications pop up makes me happy and grateful that I could share this concoction.

"The First Wielder" was created the moment I finished The Umbrella Academy. It was a 'what if' that kept me up all night with all the ideas and plots surrounding it before that single 'what if' became a series of 'what if's.

The series is amazing, mind you. And I wanna give Vanya a hug, Ben a pat on the head, and Five a comfy bed to sleep soundly on for some reason.

Yeah. Writing Klaus is insanely fun (I want to have a friend like him in real life. Imagine the chaos that could happen), the powers were a nice concept to test, and the siblings' themselves were so dynamic I wanted to see where I could take them without straying away from the original series.

Abigail was...interesting. She felt like her own character even if I was the author. Legit. My imagination would go heehoo and my fingers would type on their own. And bam! The girl does this, she does that. But I'm not complaining.

And when I added Five to the picture, oh my what is this?

Their reactions and interactions were always my favorite to write and I don't know why but seeing those two together made them a lot more human. Is it wrong to say I actually ship them? Haha. But I really like it when they did stuff together.

Tell me what you think of them. Tell me about the story in general. I wanna know. Legit.

Again, thank you for reading and supporting "The First Wielder".

See you!
