NINETEEN
Abigail was banned from the Academy's weapons room.
And no, it wasn't because she was unsupervised. The main reason was that she was supervised.
Diego volunteered to go with her to the weapons room. The girl saw no harm, knowing the second sibling was also adept in using knives.
But one hour later Pogo found them inside the room, knives all over the place after the two engaged in a small game of knife throwing and moving targets.
Pogo was far from pleased.
The next hour was spent on Abigail and Diego cleaning their mess under the watchful eyes of Pogo. Luckily, the girl was able to pick out a new pocket knife before she was kicked out of the weapons room, never to return again.
She, too, honestly didn't want to experience that ever again.
The girl now found herself sitting on one of the stools in sir Reginald's bar, admiring the silver-colored pocket knife she chose. She thought of getting another one but dismissed the idea.
"I guess I should keep this away from Five's reach," Abigail mumbled.
Speak of the devil, the very person appeared. On the stool next to her might I add.
"What about me?" Five said as Abigail flicked the knife blade back to its handle.
"Nothing," she replied plainly.
"I heard what happened in the weaponry," his statement made her flinch. "Chewed off by Pogo?"
"I never knew a primate butler was that scary," she shivered at the memory. "I even thought his cane would turn to a sword."
Five chuckled. "I can see that happening. No one really knows how many secrets Pogo hides."
Abigail hid her knife back in the belt hook on her right waist side of her pants. "Well, I won't be shocked if Pogo is actually smarter than you."
He glared at her as she replied with a playful one before engaging in another conversation.
Klaus entered the living room, tired. He was scratching his head while staggering in his steps. The man collapsed on one of the sofas and yawned loudly. He was about to take a nap when he heard the familiar voice of his brother and sister-from-the-outside. The man sprung from his position, turning his head to see the two teens in the mini-bar.
"Abby!" Klaus greeted, making the teens turn to him.
Abigail gave a small wave while Five sent him a glare.
The brother sauntered to where they were. "And hello to you too, Five my boy."
"Are you drunk?" Abigail couldn't help but ask.
"Nope, not really," Klaus yawned once more. "Just didn't have a good sleep."
The two were suspicious but they let him slide for now.
"Oh yeah," the man chirped. "Vanya's looking for you. Said she's heading back to her apartment."
"Already?" Abigail whined while hopping off her stool. "I should go see her then."
"If you're worried about my brother right here--" Klaus wrapped his arm around Five's shoulders despite the boy's protests "--I'm gonna keep him busy until you come back."
"Okay...?" She trailed off before walking out of the living room.
Five spatial jumped away from the stool he once sat to a few feet away from the mini-bar. Klaus stumbled in the process.
