HERE IS THE SECOND YEAR SUMMARY!!!
the reasoning it took so long was because when i suggested a 3 year summary, i was already halfway done revising 1st year. i had none of 2nd year done and there was a LOT that needed to be fixed. first year had significantly less chapters whereas second had a bunch of 1000 word chapters that i hated every word of hehe. still i think 2nd year is my least favorite of my writing but it's over and done with, thank god, and 3rd year shouldn't take as long<3

year two;summer
both harry and y/n conclude that they have feelings for each other but neither are willing to admit it
HCG 1 chapter 22
year two;dobby
dobby visits y/n in the midst of the night after visiting harry and attempting to keep him away from hogwarts
he makes her promise to keep harry away from hogwarts but she says she can't make that promise
instead though the two make a deal that y/n will protect harry
"everything in my power, i won't let anything bad happen to harry."

year two;ollivander's
y/n visits ollivander to ask what she did or what she is entitled to that is the cause for her powerful wand to which he tells her that her mother is her best chance of figuring it out
he then bids her warning of said mother, telling her how he thinks the woman's sudden reaching out is suspicious
y/n leaves the shop with more questions than answers and doesn't tell her friends the reasoning behind her visit to ollivander's for their own safety
she receives yet another letter from her mother referencing the ring she gave y/n for christmas in first year as well as how she'll answer all the questions y/n may have in person and how she believes they will one day succeed in being a family again

harry informs y/n that the crystal she'd given him for christmas in first year is his good luck charm

year two;polyjuice and azkaban
while the core four try to figure out who the heir of slytherin is, y/n has more than one mystery to solve
she's looking for her mom and when hermione seems to be less than supportive, y/n grows an unexplainable type of angry
"you know, i've seen you mad before but i've never seen you so mad that your eyes turn red."
y/n is disappointed when she comes up empty handed but she jots down the name of the only woman in the book that looks to be around her mother's age and has the same first initial; bellatrix lestrange.

year two;ginny
sneaking out on her way to apologize to harry, who she'd irrationally screamed at and showed him, first hand, how frightening she is with her red, glowing eyes, she runs into ginny in the corridor.
ginny is distressed, in need of help and leads
y/n to the girl's lavatory, where she murmurs to herself about opening the chamber
y/n gets extremely bad instincts and demands ginny that they head back to the common room when she discovers that ginny is in some sort of trance, under a spell.
she pulls out her hand but ginny beats her to it
this is the first encounter y/n has under the imperio curse.

year two; something bad is happening at hogwarts
dobby visits harry in the hospital wing to warn him about the girl with the eyes the color of blood.
the trio is worried for y/n when they realize she was neither asleep in the dorms nor visiting harry in the hospital wing and then walks into the great hall looking disastrous and ever so casually initiating a conversation
harry feels guilty for being suspicious of her

y/n remembers little by little, everything she had done while under the imperio curse including petrifying colin creevey although she doesn't understand how or why
