Third Person POV, 3rd Mar 2019, 3:21AM. Route 7

Charizard was slowly waking up. As he woke up, he felt really off. As much as he wanted to get up to try and get something to hopefully make himself feel better, he couldn't because

1. Houndour was sleeping on his stomach.

2. He had basically no energy to even physically lift Houndour.

This felt weird for Charizard... Ever since Sans had chosen him when he was a Charmander, he had never felt this... weak before. Charizard began coughing, which soon turned into a mini coughing fit. Charizard was trying so hard to make it as quiet as possible and also trying not to accidentally cough fire.

Thankfully, they were sleeping outside, which meant if he had, it wouldn't set fire to a whole building. Unfortunately, he had to be considerably more quiet, because everyone else was out of their Pokeballs tonight as they were sleeping outside.

When Charizard finally got his coughing fit under control, he looked around nervously. The last thing he needed was for someone to have woken up and caught him coughing. No one did though, for which Charizard was thankful. As well as this, he was thankful that somehow, he didn't wake Houndour up, who was sleeping on his stomach.

The lizard Pokemon pondered his situation for a bit. He couldn't be sick... Right? "No, no, I'm not sick. I'm sure I probably just need some sleep," Charizard stubbornly thought, trying to convince himself, although his body and energy levels said otherwise. Charizard soon fell back into a deep sleep as his body was trying to fight off this sickness he had.

6:55AM.

Sans yawned as he slowly woke up. He was sleeping in the tent, like usual when they decided to camp out the night. With the help of psychic, he got up without waking his kids up. As Sans checked the date on his phone, he realised that today was the day that he and Charizard had decided they would challenge the Celadon City gym.

As he got out of the tent, once again, he was surprised seeing that Charizard was still asleep. Knowing what day it was today, he would have thought Charizard would be the first up and be already training. But once again, it seemed like Charizard would be the last Pokemon (except for the kids) to wake up.

Again, leaving Charizard be for now, Sans decided to go further away from the tent to go set up a campfire for breakfast. As he got it set up, he said his good mornings to the others who were already up. Curry seemed like a good choice for breakfast, so Sans got to work on making that.

While he was doing that, as per usual, some of the others decided on starting on training. It was a beautiful, clear sunny day after all. Perfect weather for outdoor training. There were some new pairings this morning - Arcanine was sparring with Pidgeot for example.

Soon, the smell of well cooked curry was wafting all over Route 7, signalling to Sans' Pokemon that it was probably soon time for breakfast, which they of course couldn't wait for. They knew that Sans and Charizard, while the two strongest in their family, were also the two that took care of them all a lot.

Sans was helping distribute the food into bowls with the help of Alakazam, Poliwrath and Haunter for the others. As he was, he was soon tackled by two familiar figures. Sans laughed. "Good morning you two," Sans greeted them. "Morning dad!" the two responded. Sans looked around at everyone eating before realising that Charizard was still asleep.

Ignoring this for the meantime, Sans handed his kids breakfast. The two took it with a thanks before they began eating. As they were, Sans got out the usual washcloth he used to wipe them clean with and began cleaning them gently as they ate. The two, already used to this routine by now and not minding it in the slightest, just kept on eating.
