Third Person POV, 3rd Mar 2019,6:51PM. Route 7.
Sorry for incredibly late upload! Trying to enjoy holidays, do holiday homework and also planning on how I could continue my YT channel is eating quite a lot of time. The story is not dead though!
Sans had quickly set up dinner and now everyone was helping themselves to a nice curry, so he snuck off to quickly check up to see how his brother's recovery was going. The skeleton knew the kids would most likely ask about it soon.
Sans soon approached Charizard, who was snoring soundly. The skeleton took comfort in noticing that Charizard's expression seemed peaceful and he seemed to be recovering from the sickness really well. It was dinner so he decided to wake the sleeping lizard Pokemon up.
"Charizard? Wake up, it's time for dinner," Sans said softly. He took happy note of how Charizard's scales seemed to have cooled down to their regular temperature and how his brother's tail flame seemed much healthier and stronger than when he was sick.
The fire-flying type slowly woke up, yawning and stretching his arms and wings. His eyes slowly opened to a smiling Sans. He felt much better too and showed as such by breathing a strong jet of blue flame into the sky triumphantly. Sans chuckled. "Someone's feeling much better."
Charizard nodded excitedly. He was just so grateful that he finally was free of feeling extremely weak and that he wasn't coughing or having any stupid annoying headaches. "You don't know how great it is feeling like myself again," Charizard said. Sans shook his head, smiling. "Just don't overwork yourself so much alright?" Sans reminded the lizard Pokemon. Charizard nodded.
"You know... The kids were the most worried if anyone," Sans mentioned. Charizard felt slightly guilty for causing the kids to worry about him so much. "Where are they now?" He asked. "They're all having dinner right now. You up for some dinner?" Sans asked his brother. Charizard nodded. "I'm starving. Let's go!" The lizard Pokemon said hungrily, heading towards where he could see and hear the others. Sans laughed at his antics.
As they were headed there, the others noticed Charizard walking towards them, looking healthy and like himself again. They began going up to him and greeting him with things like "Good to see you well again!" and "Glad you're better Charizard!" Charizard smiled and told everyone it was good to be back.
Suddenly, Charizard was tackled down by an excited Vulpix, Roman, Arial and Houndour. The others were surprised. They couldn't tell if they should have been impressed that the kids collectively had enough strength to tackle Charizard down or if they should be worried that Charizard was so easily tackled down.
Sans began to laugh. "Looks like some kids are happy to see you," he said in between laughs. The others began to laugh too. "Clearly you have some sort of fan club, Charizard," Pidgeot said amused. Charizard lifted his head up from where it lay on the floor to see the kids on his chest. He chuckled. "Alright, alright, you can let me up now," Charizard said. The kids leapt off of the fire-flying Pokemon's chest.
Charizard slowly got back up, laughing slightly after that event.
"Uncle Charizard! You look way better!" Roman said joyfully. Charizard smiled and gave his nephew a head noogie. Arial laughed as her brother tried to squirm out of Charizard's hold. The others were just looking on in amusement.
They all went on to have dinner as normal, with Charizard acting like his usual self again. "Oh yeah, uncle?" Arial called out to her uncle as they were eating dinner. The lizard Pokemon turned around to face his niece. "You'll be proud of all of us! We were all training while you were resting!" Arial informed her uncle.
