Sans' POV, 7th Feb 2019, 9:00AM

yaaaaaaaawn... what time is it? i opened my eyes and checked my phone (i still kept it. i made sure alphys couldn't track me). it read 9:00AM. i wasn't surprised. i looked around. my pokemon were all still sleeping. suddenly, i got a text message.

Toriel
Hello, Sans. Please, I know that what happened a couple days ago was a bit traumatic for you, but please come home now. We've just found out Frisk had amnesia and that was why she was accusing you of killing her. Please come back, Sans. We all want you back. Please, don't ignore this message.

i sighed. it was toriel. i let myself get lost within my own thoughts for a moment. should i answer to the text? should i even answer anything at all? i sighed. this was toriel after all. no one knew or even suspected that i had... a crush... on toriel. i am madly in love with her, but i somehow managed to hide those feelings for three months. now thinking about it, did she even like me back? did she love me at all? i thought back to what she said the last time we spoke.

"I thought I could trust you! I asked you to protect the child and look at what you've done! You've HURT HER!!! Why Sans? WHY?!"

i sighed. probably not. besides, i have a new mission anyways and i promised myself (and i rarely make any promises) that i would train to become stronger to protect my family and my loved ones. i realised something tapping me. i looked to my side. it was a vine. probably bulbasaur. i looked down on the side of my bed and indeed i saw bulbasaur looking at me. i put tired smile on. "morning bulbasaur. you're up so early, huh?" i greeted. "bulba, bul bul, bulbasaur!" i laughed quietly. "oh, so you want to wake everyone up so we can train for today's gym battle?" i asked. a rapid head nod signalling yes is what i got. i laughed again, a little louder this time. i was just getting me feet over my bed when i felt my phone buzz. i sighed and pulled it out to see who was calling me. huh. i apparently had a missed call from toriel and now papyrus was calling? i inwardly sighed sadly. they couldn't know where i was or what i was doing. this was something i had to do with my pokemon and myself. i ignored the call and began waking up my other pokemon.

around 10:00AM, all my pokemon were finally up. bulbasaur helped in getting them up. finally after that, i had a breakfast of sandwiches that i had on me and told my pokemon we were going to see if we could buy some food somewhere. we walked out and i went to nurse joy to return the key. i also asked if there was anywhere i could buy things for me and my pokemon. she nodded. "Of course! In pretty much every town, there is a Pokemon Center and Pokemon Mart. At the Pokemon Mart, you can buy things like food for you and your Pokemon, healing supplies and Pokeballs. At the larger department store in Goldenrod City in Johto, you can buy a much larger variety of items, including the same stuff from regular Pokemon Marts and other things like TM's, berries, drinks and battle items," nurse joy explained. i thanked nurse joy before we left the Pokemon Center to train. I was planning to do half an hour's worth of shopping, then maybe train for about an hour, before resting for half an hour and heading over to the gym to get the boulder badge.

so first things first; the pokemon mart. we headed over there first. i then told everyone that they had to return to their pokeballs. bulbasaur and pidgey didn't mind. charmeleon and pikachu? well they were a different story. i honestly had no problem with pikachu staying out, but with charmeleon, i wanted him in his pokeball because i was worried his flame would catch things on fire. i told that to him and he finally went into his pokeball. i didn't want to force my pokemon after all. i went in with pikachu on my shoulder. i went on a literal shopping spree. i first stocked up on potions and things status effects healers like antidotes. i also got a lot of pokeballs to use in the future. finally, it was time for the food. i got my pokemon a bunch of pokefood and also some berries and treats as well. i paid for it all at the counter. thankfully i had a large bag and a lot of money. i had about $3,500 on me. i paid about $250 for all the items. not bad, honestly. then pikachu and i walked out, where i then let everyone out. we all then found a spot to train. when we did, i checked the time. it was 11:00AM. that meant we'd challenge the gym leader at around 12:30PM. not bad. that'd give us about 5 hours to travel to the next town. thankfully this time i had brought a tent so we could sleep on the go. i would've loved to buy a small pot for cooking, but i didn't have the space. huh. maybe next time.
