They Love You, Sans! (SHORT CHAPTER)

Third Person POV, 25th Feb 2019, 6:17PM Pokemon House.

Sans, Charizard and the Cubone siblings were headed back to the Pokemon Center to spend the night there. As they were, Sans and Charizard were having small talk while the Cubone atop each of their heads was just taking the sight in of the town at night. The two were incredibly happy to have been adopted by Sans.

They finally reached the Pokemon Center. It was about 6:23PM now, so it was a perfect time to go and check into a room for the night. Nurse Joy saw them and cooed at the cute sight of the two Cubone atop each their heads.

"Hello you two. Well done with the Pokemon Tower!" Nurse Joy congratulated the two. Chansey made a happy sound to celebrate their achievement as well. "And I see you have new additions to your team, Shadow," Nurse Joy remarked, motioning to the Cubone atop Sans' and Charizard's heads.

Sans chuckled. "Yeah, we adopted the two from the Pokemon house," Sans explained. "The two kiddos seemed to like us too much," Sans chuckled. Nurse Joy looked surprised but then laughed at the cuteness of the situation.

Charizard rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "More like they seemed to love you a lot, brother," Charizard told Sans. Sans laughed. "That's true I guess Charizard. But they love you too," Sans told the fire-flying type. 

"We do!" The Cubone twins said together to Charizard, confirming the skeleton's comment.

Sans turned back to Nurse Joy. "Could we get a room for tonight?" Sans asked the pink haired woman. Nurse Joy nodded. "Sure!" She felt around underneath the desk for a key. She pulled out one and gave it to Sans. It was room 12. "Looks like you have room 12. It should be all the way at the back," Nurse Joy informed Sans. The cloaked skeleton nodded and thanked Nurse Joy for her hospitality before the four of them went to find room 12.

They found room 12 and went in. It was a typical small hotel room, it was self sustainable too. There was a small kitchen and dining area, tiny lounge area and a door leading to a bedroom. Another door led to the bathroom, which had a sink, toilet and shower cubicle. 

In the kitchen, there was a tiny electric stove with a small oven underneath it. On the bench top, there was a toaster and an electric kettle. Underneath of the bench top, there were cupboards that stored cutlery, plates, bowls and cooking-ware. On the counter separating the small lounge area and the kitchen, there was a sink for washing stuff.

In the lounge, there was a small couch, with a coffee table opposite to it against the wall with a TV placed on top of the coffee table. Right next to the lounge area, a small dining area was set up with a small table with four chairs.

Charizard set down the girl Cubone on the couch while he went to turn the TV on for her to watch. Sans did the same and set down her brother next to her on the couch while he went to put down his bag in the bedroom. He also went to remove his cloak, revealing the black shorts and blue t-shirt he was wearing. As well as the cloak, he removed the gloves he wore to hide his skeleton hands.

He sighed as he got ready to show his true self to the siblings. "Would they still want me?" Sans was panicking slightly about what their reactions would be. Charizard, who was watching over the siblings while Sans went to take off his cloak and gloves, realised Sans was taking longer than he probably should have, went to check on his brother, after ensuring that the Cubone were distracted.

He opened the door there to see Sans with his cloak and gloves off, seemingly thinking about something. Charizard, knowing his brother well enough, took a guess at what was bothering him.

"You're afraid they won't like you after they see the real you, aren't you Sans?" Charizard asked softly. Sans' head quickly looked upwards to see Charizard there. "O-oh! Bro, you scared me," Sans said, his breath starting to slow down after being startled. Sans sighed. Charizard knew him too well and he didn't bother lying to him. Sans nodded in response to Charizard's question.
