Background: You are half-Korean and moving to South Korea to learn more about your heritage. Everyone is born with a timer on their wrist, counting down until you meet your soulmate.
"Okay, loves, that's going to be it for this video," You said to the camera. "And remember it's going to be a while until I upload again. I'm moving to South Korea next week and need some time to get things situated. But get ready for some videos about my new apartment. Goodbye loves!"
You blew a kiss and turned off the camera. You then lay back on your bed looking up at the ceiling.
With a sigh you pushed herself up to start editing the video you just finished.
You are a Youtuber. And you have been for the past few years, but it wasn't until the beginning of this year that you actually started getting popular. You were currently standing at 3 million subscribers, and was growing with every passing day.
And with the more subscribers, the more money came rolling in, which meant you could quit your nine-to-five job and focus on what really made you happy; music and fashion. You made a lot of videos talking about fashion and new styles. You also made videos reviewing new songs and albums.

Later that night, you went over to your best friend's apartment. The two of you had decided to have a sleepover at your best friend's house that night. You had changed into pajamas while your best friend said goodbye to her soulmate.
You were listening as the two soulmates said goodbye. It was so cute listening to them, it was almost nauseating. When your best friend entered her bedroom you threw a pillow at her.
"What was that for?" Your best friend shouted throwing the pillow back on her bed.
"For being so damn cute with your soulmate," you said with a laugh.
"You could hear us?" your best friend said as her face started growing red.
"It's a small apartment, Y/B/F/N. Not much can go missed," You said.
"I'm sorry. I know you're sensitive about soulmates," Your best friend said as she started grabbing some pajamas for herself.
The timer on your wrist had five more years on it. Most people meet their soulmates around the age you are now. Ever since you were little, people would tease you about how much longer you had than everyone else. You got over it though.
"It's fine," You said. "It's not something I can control. I just have no choice but to wait to meet them."
"I feel bad, though," Your BF said as she climbed into bed. "I mean you were there when I met my soulmate. You were there for the happiest moment in my life, and I can't help but feel bad because I won't be there for yours. I mean you're moving to South Korea. A whole ocean away."
"I know, that's what's exciting! It's all going to be so new to me!" You said. "besides, I'm half Korean, I'll get to know a culture I know next to nothing about! This is my heritage. I guess you don't understand this because you're full American."
"True, but we've been together since the first grade," You BF lay back against the pillows. "You have to call and text and FaceTime me all the time."
"Of course, and when you and that soulmate of yours finally get engaged, you call me before you even put the ring on your finger," I laughed.
"If he even proposes," Your best friend muttered.
"Don't act like that," You shoved her. "It's been three years, I've known soulmates who have dated for seven years."
