ASH AND ANASTASIA WERE KEEPING WATCH, THEY TWO NEED TO TALK IN PRIVATE and Mavis and Rosa are keeping an eye on the kids as they all help prepare for the Governor and his people to attack. Anastasia took notice of how close Joaquin and Ash had become since coming back from Woodbury.

"We haven't had time to talk about what happened." Anastasia says breaking the silence between the two Walsh sisters. "The day Lori died."

"You forgave him, Anastasia, there isn't much to talk." Ash says, clearly bothered by how her and Rick had managed to move on.

"What was I supposed to say to a dying woman?" Anastasia asks. "It's unfair, I know it is. But she asked me to forgive him, and I still don't trust Rick like before, and yes he scares me."

"Rick would never hurt you because he's in love with you Anastasia, he's always been in love with you, how blind are you?" Ash snaps at her.

"I'm not blind, Ashley, I choose to ignore it. Because I am a married woman. And I am utterly and completely in love with Luke. Because It's always been Luke, and even if he's dead, it will always be him, no man will take his place, no man compares to him." Anastasia snaps back at her sister.

"You thought that with Nate." Ash says, it was definitely a low blow, and Ash knew it. The look of disbelief on her, confirmed it. Anastasia was hurt by that comment. 

"Ashley, Nathan was first serious relationship, and I loved him, and I thought I would never find anyone like him. Then here comes Luke, he was everything, and he just swept me off my feet. I didn't expect him, at all." Anastasia says. Ash knew her loves Luke, she would never step out on her marriage, it doesn't cross her mind. She still has hope her husband is alive. Ash wants something like Luke and Anastasia have, "He's the love of my life, and the father of my children. All five of them." She says and Ash nods, she didn't speak about the child she lost via miscarriage. 

"You can't even look at Judith or hold her." Ash says looking at the forrest.

"I know, and I don't know what's wrong with me." Anastasia says honestly, every time she hears Judith cry or be around her, she would tense up. "I think it because we lost Sam, that I didn't get to see him, and say goodbye and hold him, show him how much his dad and I loved him." She says. "I went to therapy because of it, I was doing to therapy for a lot of my problems. Apparently being abandoned really does a number on you." She says trying to make light of the serious conversation and tone. Ash laughs a little and the sisters just sit in silence. "Our parents really screwed me up man, and I try every day not to be like them, not to hurt my kids. I try to be the mom I didn't have."

It had been a few months since Rick announced to the group that he had killed Shane. The very night they lost the farm and their things. He killed him to keep them alive and safe. Ash and Anastasia knew their brother wouldn't hurt them, not intentionally. Rick was trying to get Anastasia and Ash to speak to him, but both women avoided him like was the dam plague.

"I get, I get." Rick tells Anastasia and Ash. "I killed Shane, I killed my best friend!" he tells them. The Walsh sisters didn't want to talk about it, they just wanted to move on. Anastasia didn't want to think of the pain of losing her brother, not when they usually fought, and were at each other's throats. Not when she stayed away, and made and created her life away from her only blood relatives left, that loved her unconditionally, with all her flaw.

Ash didn't want to deal with the fact that her big brother was gone. That he was never going to come back and she didn't get to give him a proper funeral. Mavis and Rosa look at Rick in disbelief, he was being incredibly selfish, after killing Shane. He wanted them to forgive him.

"They're my family, and Shane became mine too,  you killed their brother. They don't owe you shit." Mavis snaps at the Grimes man. Rick looks at her surprised, he didn't expect that from Mavis.

"Shane was there for me when my brother was locked up, and my dad was angry. Shane was my big brother too!" Rosa tells him angrily. "You hurt them Rick, you killed their brother. You know he raised them. Shawn walked out on them with out thinking about it twice." She says.

"She, she reminds me of him." Anastasia tells her, breaking the silence, not wanting to think of when Mavis and Rosa yells at Rick for being selfish.

"You think she's his?" Ash asks her.

"I'm sure she is, the rate she was growing, it makes sense." Anastasia says. "But no matter what, if she is or isn't, we protect that little girl. God knows she needs it." Ash nods knowing the Judith has brought some hope to the group, and they all wanted to protect her. All the Watson kids wanted to protect her, and make her life easier.

      MADDY WAS IN RICKS AND CARLS CELL. SHE HAD GOTTEN PERMISSION FROM RICK TO paint a baby animals on the walls to give it a brighter touch to it. Glenn, Carl, and Joaquin helped her move some things around to make it easier for her to paint.

"Need help?" Mel asks her sister.

"Yes, aesthetic wise." Maddy says, Glenn and Joaquin leave the girls to do their thing. "I drew this, now I just need it to fit together." Maddy says showing Mel the sketches she drew, of the animals. "Carl, thoughts? It's for your baby sister." Maddy says.

"I like the panda." Carl says, he knew his mother would of liked it, What the girls were doing for Judith. "Also the baby duck."

"The ducklin'." Mel says in a horrible British accent making the three kids laugh. Rick saw them from the corridor, planning and he couldn't help but smile seeing Carl being a kid.

"You're raising a good kid." Rosa tells him, making himself smile and nod. She gives him a small smile and leaves. Rick watches them for a bit and leaves not wanting to interrupt them.
