AS HER SIBLINGS TOLD CARL ABOUT SEATTLE, MEL COULDN'T HELP BUT PLAY WITH her necklace, her father gave her. Her mom told her it was gift, he got one for each of his girls. He said his father did the same thing, and she never took it off. While hers had purple flowers, Maddy's had blue flowers. Val's has colorful flowers, their mothers was the North Star, it was a cheesy story behind it. Mel loves when her father always told it, he said he'd always find his way back to her, to them. Not matter what, he'd come home to her, and then.

"Mel." Frank says.

"Huh?" Mel asks turning to look at her little brother.

"Uncle Jack, he taught us how to fish." Frank says.

"Oh yeah, he had a boat." Mel says.

"Mel hated it, she gets seasick." Val says smiling.

"Shut up." Mel rolls her eyes at her little sister. "Come on lets play." Mel grabs the baseball, and the gloves, she throws one to Val.

"I want in." Frank says.

"Me too!" Carl says.

"We don't have enough gloves." Val says.

"Mom brought two more, one person can't play." Maddy says. "I choose me, I'll set it out." Maddy says, staying seated. Mel, Frank, Val and Carl stand up and get ready to play catch.

Maddy watches them play and she can't but remembers going to their games.

"What are you doing?" Amy asks Maddy, taking a seat next to her.

"Watching them play, and playing with the camera." Maddy smiles taking out the camera, Mavis got Mel and her. She picks it up close to see from the lens and turns to look at Amy, Amy sticks her tongue out making a silly face, Maddy smiles and takes the picture, waiting for it to develop. She then shows Amy, and they both laugh at how silly Amy looks.

"Who's that?" Amy asks pointing to the picture in her backpack, it was a picture of Maddy, Mel and their dad. He was holding them both in his arms and the girls laughed, he had a wide smile on his face. Their mom took the picture.

"My dad, thats my dad." Maddy says smiling a little.

"Nice." Amy says not knowing what to say.

"Do you miss your dad?" Maddy asks.

"All the time." Amy admits, "do you?"

"More than anything, he's a bad ass. I want to be like him when I grow up." Maddy says, Amy nods.

"Want to talk about him?" Amy asks Maddy, softly.
