ANASTASIA WENT TO WORK TODAY, SHE LEFT MEREDITH WITH CAROL FOR A FEW HOURS. Carol said it was no problem, Meredith would help her for fit in and find herself. Anastasia had a feeling they were scheming, or maybe it was Carol trying to reinvent herself to the new community who didn't know her or her past. She didn't give it much thought, she needed to focus making it herself in this community.
"Good morning." Anastasia greets.
"Good morning." Pete says. She sets her bag down as he shows here where everything is.
"Why haven't you taken anyone one to teach?" She asks already feeling uneasy being alone with him.
"There isn't anyone." He says.
"What about your son Ron?" She asks. "Has he shown interest?" He shakes his head. "No one in the community?" She asks.
"No." He says and she looks at him not believing him.
"Okay." She says.
"Hey auntie Anastasia!" Luca says entering with Val.
"Hey sweetie." Anastasia smiles at him. "Where's your dad?"
"He's at work, I'm staying with Val." He smiles.
"Hey mom." Val smiles.
"Hey sweetie." She says.
"This is it?" Val asks and Anastasia nods. "Cool. Uhm, Mason was seeing if you'd like to have dinner with them, anytime soon?" She asks.
"We'll have spaghetti." Luca says.
"I uh." Anastasia says looking between the two kids. "Okay." She says.
"Okay, well we're going to go help Carol with Judith and Meredith." Val says hugging and kissing her mother's cheek leaving the room with Luca who waves at her.
"You just had a baby right?" He asks her.
"Yeah." She says.
"Have you gotten a physical done?" He asks walking to her.
"I'm good." She says. He grabs her from her hips and picks her up, "What the hell are you going?" She asks as he sits her on the exam table.
"You're a mom and you haven't made sure you're okay." He says putting his hands on her, she grabs his wrist and twisting it behind him.
"Don't you fuckien touch me." She says shoving him away. She goes for her bag and he grabs her wrist tightly pulling her back. Anastasia elbows his nose hearing it break. She pushes him off, "You're a dam doctor, fix it yourself!" She yells grabbing her things and make her way to her house. She tried do control her breathing and not look distress.
"Mom, are you okay?" Frank asks her seeing her come up the porch steps.
"Yeah, I just, I wasn't needed." She says giving him a small smile, Frank looks at her and nods.
