The next two weeks were really hard every now and then but I got through it. The day I left for Manson it was rainy. I had never been on a plane so I was a little freaked out. I was so nervous my hands were shaking. It was almost an 8 hour flight to Manson and I could barely wait to see Xander.
When I got off the plane he was waiting for me with a sign with my name on it. I ran to him and hugged him.
“I am so glad to see you!” He said hugging me back.
“I know! I missed you too. I almost don’t want to go home. I didn’t like that plane ride.” I giggled.
“I know. Come on. I’ll show you where I live.” He grabbed my bag in one hand in my hand in the other.
As we drove down the winding road I was holding his hand while he drove.
“So, where do you live? All Ive seen is country and lots of trees.” I giggled a little.
“Right there.”
As we drove over the hill, I saw this huge stone castle. It was huge! There were trees all around it sort of like they were hiding it. The stones in it were white and the roof was gray.
“Holy Moly! Xander, do you live there?”
“Yeah.” He said smiling.
“Wow...Tell me your kidding right? Tell me you live behind there?”
“No sweet heart, I live in that castle!” he ssaid smiling more.
When we got out and walked in his mother greeted me and was very kind. She was very pretty, she had long black hair with strips of silver in it. I could definitely tell the Xander got his eyes from her. Her eyes were the same color green as his.
“Mother, this is Audrey.” Xander said holding my hand.
“Hello dear. Its so nice to finally meet you. Xander has told me so much about you. You are all he’s talked about since he got home.” She said with a warm smile.
“Thank you ma’am. He’s a great guy.” I said smiling and blushing a little.
Later Xander was walking me around the grounds. I was literally furious with him.
I stopped walking.
“Xander how could you not tell me!”
“Tell you what sweetie?”
“That you were loaded! If I had known that...i...I don’t know what...But I’m still mad at you!”
“Don’t be mad. I didn’t tell you because I didn’t think it was that important! I’m sorry.”
“It’s not important?! Xander, You live in a freakin’ castle!”
“I know I’m sorry. Please don’t be mad. Please forgive me.”
“I don’t know...Its going to take some time.” I said walking off.
