It was already summertime in Manson and it was starting to be hot one at that. I wasn't feeling all that well on that day. I didn't know why though. I had to go find Xander though.
Xander was in his study, he had fallen asleep on his desk. This past few weeks were especially hard because the summer ball was going to be held Manson and they wanted to use our castle for it. So when I saw him asleep in his study, I kissed his head and decided I was going to go to the doctors instead to find out what was wrong.
When I came back I couldn't stop smiling. I ran into Xander's mother.
"Hello dear," She said as she stopped to talk to me, "Well, what is making you so happy this lovely summer afternoon?" She smiled at me.
"You promise not to tell Xander?" I smiled as she nodded. "I'm gonna have a baby!"
She squealed and hugged me. "Oh, oh my word, I am so happy for you dear! He is going to be so excited! You must let me know when you tell him! I want to see you both after you tel him okay?" She smiled.
"Okay. Thank you. I'm going to tell him after lunch." I smiled and left to find Xander.
He actually found me before I found him. I told him I wanted to go to on a picnic. While we were sitting on the ground during our picnic I pulled a small box out and handed it to him.
"What is it?" He smiled. "It isnt my birthday."
"I know. This is just a special thing. Open it." I smiled.
I watched him as he opened it. HE looked a little confused at the gift.
"Little white booty socks? I can't fit in these Audrey!" HE laughed. "Why did...? Wait, are you?" He jumped up and ran around as I stood up too.
I laughed and nodded as I watched him jump up and down and run around. "Yes! I'm going to have a baby!" I smiled.
He ran over and picked me up and spun me around, "You're going to have a baby! You are going to be a mommy!" He put me down, "I'm going to be a daddy...I'm going to be a daddy! I'm going to be a daddy!" He started running around again.
I just laughed at him. I had never seen him this excited before. All he could do was say "I'm going to be a daddy!" it was the sweetest thing ever.
