When I woke up the next morning, I stretched, yawning. God. I was still tired. A look at the clock told me it was now 9 o'clock. Did I sleep that long? Oh whatever. I got up yawning and saw a red envelope on the desk. So what is that? I opened the letter and pulled out a note.
Dear Arlene,
I would like to take you out to dinner today. Of course only if you want to. It's not a date or anything. Of course not! But I would like to talk to you and so on. Yours Brian
I smiled. This is not a date! No! Not at all! Roger Taylor isn't Queen's drummer at all either! But really sweet that he wrote to me. I changed and went into the kitchen, where the others were having breakfast. Everyone except Malcolm. In fact, he wasn't here. I put a small letter in Brian's hand unnoticed and then sat down next to Angus. He smiled at me.
"Good Morning. Slept well?" Ellen asked cheerfully.
"Yes. Slept well." I nodded and yawned. "Where is Mal?"
"Malcolm is still in bed." Linda giggled.
"I really have to say Malcolm has stamina." Said Brian. "I'm training and my abs really hurt. He doesn't train and has lasted longer than me." Linda smiled proudly at her husband. There was a rattle and then Malcolm came into the kitchen. He was wearing sunglasses and plaid pajamas. He looked cute. He clutched his stomach and moaned a little. Poor Malcolm. His stomach should really hurt like hell.
"Why are you wearing sunglasses, darling?" Asked Linda, giggling.
"No questions." He muttered and sat down next to his wife. "Just coffee." I laughed. Angus gave Malcolm a cup of coffee. "Thank you." Malcolm muttered and drained the cup.
"How are your abs?" Teased Phil.
"If I've ever had any, they've surely died now." Malcolm said seriously. We laughed.
"I feel the same way, mate." Brian nodded.
"Darling, don't I get a good morning kiss?" Angus teased, looking at Malcolm. Malcolm looked at him a little skeptically.
"Oh baby! I haven't shown you any affection yet!" He stood up and stood behind Angus. He started kissing the side of Angus' neck. "Dear, I'm so sorry." We laughed and Angus looked shocked. Angus suddenly squealed. Malcolm pulled back, laughing, and dropped into his chair.
"Did you seriously give me a hickey!?" Angus wailed. We laughed.
"You're not satisfied with anything either, darling." Malcolm teased. He kissed Linda gently. "How are you, Linds?"
"He or she kicks a little. But I'm fine." She smiled. Malcolm nodded and kissed her baby bump. I couldn't help cooing. Brian grinned at me and I blushed a little.

After dinner, I sat with Phil in the living room and played Monopoly. He was really good. Cliff got on at some point. Brian walked past me and dropped a note on my lap. I giggled. He smiled at me and disappeared into the kitchen.
"I'm going to the bathroom." I said and disappeared into the bathroom. There I opened the letter:
I am glad that you would like to go with me. Be ready to go in the living room at 8 p.m. ;)
I smiled. God! My first date!

In the evening I stood a little nervous in front of the mirror. There was a knock on the door and Angus entered.
"Excited?"
"Like hell." I smiled. "Wait...how do you know?" He closed the door behind him and sat on my bed.
"Brian told me. Hopefully you two get together. You'd make a great couple." I smiled. "You look beautiful. But do you know...something is still missing." He said. "Em...I know! Let Mal flatten your hair a little!"
"Mal can flatten?" I asked, surprised. Angus nodded.
"It's amazing, but there's almost nothing my brother can't do. Wait, I'll get him." Angus disappeared again. Malcolm can flatten hair? I would never have expected that! God, Malcolm and Angus were like big brothers to me. It felt like I had known the band for ages. The door opened and the siblings came in.
"Angus said you needed help." Malcolm said with a smile.
"Yes. She needs a braided hairstyle that will blow old Brian away." Angus explained overdramatically. I giggled shyly.
"You don't have to..."
"Ah! I already know for sure!" Malcolm exclaimed. "We're going to really get you going!" I giggled. He sounded like a mother picking out her daughter's clothes for prom. "Sit down." I sat down on the small stool in front of the mirror. He combed my hair gently.
"What is it like when you've lived together all your life?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" Angus lay on my bed as if it were his. I giggled at him.
"Well... you're together every day. Normal siblings split up at some point."
"You get used to having that crazy bird with you at some point." Malcolm grinned.
"Hey!" Angus called. I giggled. Malcolm's hands began to flatten through my blonde hair. With such precision as I had never seen before. Every single branch of my hair was braided perfectly into the pigtail that ran across my head and then tied into a large bun at the back. On the other side, he did the same. He let one strand hang out. He took a setter.
"Close eyes." I did and he sprayed the setter on my hair. I coughed a little. He wrapped a hair curler in the loose strand and tucked a few small orange blossom flowers into my hair. Where did he get them from!? He poked the bun a little higher and used bobby pins. Then he pulled out the curler. A little curl stood in my face. After half an eternity, it was done. "Finished. I hope you like it." He smiled. I looked at myself in the mirror. Oh my God! I was beautiful!
"Thanks!" I called and hugged him tightly. He was a little taken by surprise, but hugged me back. I held him tight against me.
"Ow...ow...wait..." He moaned softly. I quickly understood that his stomach was still aching and I was pushing against it.
"Oh. I'm sorry."
"No problem. You look beautiful."
"Thanks." I blushed a little.
"Shit, you look really good." Angus nodded as he came next to us. I hugged them both again.
"I know I haven't known you all that long, but Malcolm...you're like the big brother I never had and Angus...I see you like my little brother." The two smiled at me.
"You have to go! Get your tiger!" Angus shouted and pushed me out of the room. I laughed. I walked through the house in my high heels until I got downstairs. Brian was already waiting. Crap! He looked really hot!
