Chapter 28 - Vultures And Dates Don't Mix

It was Friday evening and you were in your bathroom getting ready. ISAAC was playing with a bottle of lotion while you washed your face.

Y/N: "Tonight's the night, ISAAC. Me and Sunset's first date! I'm so nervous right now." 

ISAAC crawled up the wall and dangled from the ceiling on a web-line.

Y/N: "She said she had it all planned out so all I have to do is pick her up and drive her to wherever she planned for us to go. Hopefully, I won't have to leave to fight Mysterio or something." You smoothed your suit and admired yourself in the mirror. "But Silky's on night patrol tonight. She's capable of taking on anybody."

ISAAC chittered and left the bathroom to go into Paul's bedroom.

Y/N: "Man do I look good." You said as you winked at yourself.

Paul: "Hey Y/N!" He called out.

You left the bathroom and stood by his door.

Y/N: "What is it, Paul?"

Paul: "I'm going to give ISAAC some updates while you're gone ok?"

Y/N: "Ok. I won't need him for tonight, remember?"

Paul: "I know, but just in case you do, just give me a call."

Y/N: "I'm telling you, I'll be fine. Right ISAAC?"

You rubbed his abdomen and pulled your keys out of your pocket.

Y/N: "I gotta go. See ya later."

Paul: "Have fun, Y/N." He grabbed his laptop and sat ISAAC on top of his desk.

Y/N: "I will." You smirked while walking down the stairs.

At Sunset Shimmer's house...

Sunset and Rarity had spent the last 40 minutes getting Sunset ready for her date. She was beaming at her mirror while Rarity styling her hair.

Rarity: "Oh darling, you look radiant! Simply divine! Y/N will want to jump to the moon and back to take you out."

Sunset looked in the mirror and admired her new dress.
