Near the parking lot, there were two lifeguard perches, a small dock with a seaside hut, and a pier with a small market.
A mile down the beach, there was a new large boardwalk called Ocean Village Boardwalk.

It has arcade games, food stands, food trucks, amusement rides, small shops, and a stage. The people of Canterlot City loved coming year-round but, during the summer, Ocean Village Boardwalk was almost always busy from sunrise to past sunset.
Story 1 - Selfie For The Squad
One afternoon, at the beach...
Y/N: "Ok guys, who's ready for a group picture?"
Pinkie Pie: "Ooh! Ooh! I am! I am! I'll get everybody!"
She runs around and grabs Sunset, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Flash, Paul, Fluttershy, Sci-Twi, Spike, and Applejack. They all get comedically dragged to where you were holding up your phone. You saw that all of them were wearing swimsuits that matched their style and/or Element of Harmony.
Pinkie Pie: "Everyone say 'Beach Day!!!'"
