Chapter 34 - The Battle For Camp Everfree

Near the lake, Paul and the (Hu)Mane 5 were hiding behind a sailboat while looking up at Gaea Everfree.

Fluttershy: "Oh, why do these kinds of things always happen to us?" She said unhappily.

Paul: "I've tried to figure it out, but there's no data or formula that can solve this mystery."

Rarity: "What are we going to do?"

Rainbow Dash: "What we always do! Save the day!" She said to the girls confidently which made the (Hu)Mane 5 smile and stack their hands on top of each other in agreement.

Pinkie Pie: "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! This is gonna be so much fun! I only wish we had time to make superhero capes!"

Rarity: "Oh, me too!"

Rainbow Dash: "Enough about our wardrobe! We've got to stop Gloriosa from trapping everybody in here!"

The (Hu)Mane 5 nodded as other campers started running away from Gaea Everfree and yelling.

Paul: "I-I'll help in any capacity I can." He said as he stood up.

Rainbow Dash: "That's the spirit, Paul. Now, let's do this!" Your six friends then split to help any way they could.

Inside the Cave Of Crystals...

After breaking free of the vines holding you, you easily ripped the vines off of Sunset and Sci-Twi.

Sci-Twi: "Smart thinking Y/N! By letting Gloriosa think you were as helpless as us two, you could easily break us out."

Y/N: "Exactly. Using both mind and muscle to solve a problem, and I have plenty of muscle." You started flexing your biceps.

Spike: "You sure do, Y/N. I wish I had as much muscle as you."

Sci-Twi & Sunset Shimmer: "Ahem! We're sorta' trapped here."

Y/N: "Right." You gave a nervous chuckle. "My bad." You looked at the blocked entrance and walked up to the large boulder in your way. "Stand back." You stretched and tried to grip the bottom of the rock. "Heave!"

You put all your strength into moving the boulder and it began to shift upward. But when you barely pushed it out of the cave, vines kept it in place.

Y/N: "Why...is...this so...hard?!" You heaved and wheezed before collapsing on the ground in fatigue.

Sunset Shimmer: "Y/N!" She and Spike rushed up to you while Sci-Twi nervously glanced at her hands.

Spike: "Are you ok?"

Sunset helped you up while you caught your breath and recovered your stamina.

Y/N: "I'm fine...but I can't lift the rock. There are too many plants holding it down." You looked at Sci-Twi and remembered her powers. "Twilight, you have to use your magic!"

Sci-Twi gasped before looking down at Spike.

Sci-Twi: "I don't think I can lift something that big." She said uncertainly.

Sunset Shimmer: "It's our only chance of getting out of here and helping our friends."

Sci-Twi moved forward and put her hands out towards the boulder. While she struggles at first, her hands start to glow purple along with the boulder as she used her magic to push the boulder out and break the vines that were keeping it in place. She nearly fainted but you caught her.

Sunset Shimmer: "You did it Sci-Twi! We're free!" She guided her out of the cave as you shot a web-line at a tall tree.

Y/N: "But now, it's time to stop Gloriosa! I'm gonna' go get my super-suit, you two find a way back to camp."
