Chapter 33 - The Truth Of Gaea Everfree

A/N: Prepare yourself because you're about to learn the truth of Gaea Everfree. Everfreee, Everfreeeee!!!

In the woods, Timber Spruce checked to see if anyone was following him before jogging down a path. Seconds later, you stealthily landed on the side of a tree and felt a chill go down your back.

Y/N: 'I feel like something's about to go down. Something really bad...' You thought as your spider-sense subtly tingled.

You were about to follow Timber when you saw Sunset run up to you.

Y/N: "Sunny?! What are you doing here?"

Sunset Shimmer: "I was going to ask you the same question."

Y/N: "My spider-sense told me to follow Timber into the woods. I think it has something to do with Gloriosa and the camp." You explained.

You two jogged after Timber and talked.

Sunset Shimmer: "Well we know Timber wants to shut down Camp Everfree so he can live in the city. That's why he created the legend of 'Gaea Everfree'." The ground shook for a moment and the next you knew, you saw a purple light shine from inside of the rock quarry.

Y/N: "Sunset, text Sci-Twi and tell her to get here now! Timber and Gloriosa are up to something!"

Sunset nodded and pulled out her phone.

Soon enough, you were waiting by the entrance of the cave when Sunset came back with Sci-Twi and Spike.

Sci-Twi: "Y/N! Sunset said someone who's pretending that Gaea Everfree exists might be in there! Is this true?"

Y/N: "I'm not entirely sure, but I know something's about to happen. C'mon, I'll lead the way!"

In the cave, you three slowed walked farther and farther in. Small diamonds embedded in the rock walls glittered around you as well as dark purple stalagmites and stalactites were either jutting out of the ground or were fastened to the ceiling.

Sci-Twi: "This place is beautiful." She thought out loud.

As you walked, Sunset looked ahead and had a look of determination on her face.

Sunset Shimmer: "There's...Equestrian magic here. I can... I can feel it!"

Spike: "Wait." He said which made everybody stop and look at him. "I thought Timber was just faking a magical nature creature. Are you and Y/N saying it's real?"

Y/N: "Yes! We've said that at least three times." You told him. You turned around and noticed a large pile of rocks being illuminated by a magical light.

Y/N: 'What is that? The power, I feel stronger, faster...I feel like I could jump to the sky.' You thought.

Sci-Twi: "Timber? What does he have to do with any of this?" She asked Sunset.
