A small house with only one bedroom with an attached washroom and a kitchen. It was at midnight. In the bedroom we can see a girl sleeping with frowns. She was sweating badly. It seems that she is having a nightmare. Suddenly she woke up with a jerk breathing heavily.
It was not for the first time. It happens very often with her. She looked at her left side only to see the pretty face of her angel who was the only person who can give her peace. She bent a little and kissed her forehead. She was unable to sleep so she got up and went near the window.
The night was very calm. But her mind and heart were not at peace. After losing everything she has lost herself. She has tried to kill herself many times but at last moment she has backed off for the only soul, her angel, her life, her everything.
The girl who was so lost was none other than Nandini. She was totally devastated. But there was no one to wipe her tears, there was no one who can console her, who can say that everything will be fine. She was alone in this cruel world trying to protect and save her angel all alone.
She was lost in her own thoughts when suddenly she heard a loud wail. She wiped her tears hastily and rushed towards her bed where her little princess was crying badly.
Nandini: Kya hua baby?? Aap ro kyun rahe ho??
Girl: Mumma.....
Nandini: Ha mumma ki jaan. Dekho mumma yehi hain. Ikshu baby dekho meri taraf.

Ikshita
4 year old daughter of Nandini. She is like an angel to her. She is the only soul for whom Nandini is still living. Ikshita is a bubbly girl. Always tries to keep her mumma happy.
Nandini took her in her arms. Feeling her mumma's fragrance she calmed a bit.
Nandini: Kya hua baby?? Bura sapna dekha aapne??
She asked lovingly to which she nodded positively. Nandini kissed her head and made lye down on the bed. She also lyed beside her. Ikshu kept her head on her mumma's chest and hugged her tightly.
Ikshu: Mujhe neend nahi aa rahi hain mumma.
She said in her toddler voice. Nandini smiled.
Nandini: Koi baat nahi.
Nandini closed her eyes for a while and started singing for her.

She rubbed of the tears which was ready to flow down. She looked at Ikshu who looking at her with sleepy eyes. She patted her head.

She remembered how she would make the father-son duo to sleep by singing this song. Their pillow fights, the leg pullings, FAB5, the full family, everything.

She remembered about the blast. Soon a sob escaped. She palmed her mouth so that no more sobs can escape. She looked at Iskhu who was in deep sleep by now. Settling her comfortably she went out of the room. Closing the door behind she collapsed on the floor. She cried her heart out. The past 4&½ years was worse for her. She was vulnerable in and out.
Nandini: Kyun aiyyappa kyun?? Kyun kiya aapne aisa mere saath?? Kyun china aapne un dono ko?? Meri family ko kyun china mujhse aapne?? Kyun??
She cried bitterly. Being tired of crying she slept there only.
