The True Omega (Taekook)

Dear Taehyung,

Hello, you don't know me, but you might know of me, the one your precious moon goddess gave something so dear of hers up for. This note isn't meant to be formal, only mainly a warning.

You may not know anything about your origin, but don't try and meddle into things that aren't your concern. I've been watching you; I can see your curious gaze and how much you want to learn who your true parents are.

Let me just say, you won't find out so don't bother trying. You may be the true omega, but you'll never defeat me. Your mother gave you away for a reason. So, you might as well give up now. Stay with the life you have with your 'parents' and family and enjoy it until it's gone.

Kook was standing by the entrance with the couple, already dressed. "Tae sure is taking a while. Kook! Go check on him." Jimin states.

"What?! Why me?!"

"Because I'm lazy and scared now go!" With a sigh, Kook walks over to the tree where Tae was changing behind. "Bubs?" He calls. He then hears a thud. A small, but still noticeable thud.

He doesn't care if it's rude or impolite, he runs behind the tree, only to spot Tae on his knees, with his head in his hands.

Inspecting further, he sees one singular tear roll down his cheek. "Tae!" he runs up, bringing the shorter one into his arms, "hey, hey, it's okay calm down okay?! Breath, just breath." Kook states as he grabs Tae's shoulders, giving a subtle shake, trying to be as gentle as possible.

"Guys!" He calls to the other three. He hears them approaching as he gets Tae up and helps him come back to reality.

When the other three get over to where they are, Jimin notices the note from earlier. Only, it's on the ground. As he picks it up, he notices the single tear drop on the bottom right hand corner. "Tae what is this?" He asks as he starts to read it.

Once he gets back to his senses, Tae replies, "I don't know. All I know is that my parents have some explaining to do, and if it's true, we really need to get out of here." They all nod in agreement, Jimin folding the note and putting it in his pocket for them to read later. They get back to the house and run inside. Hobi locks the door as Kook brings Tae over to the couch.

"What does the note say Chim?" Hobi asks him. As he reads the note out loud, the rest of the groups' eyes widen like saucers. They're both in shock of what they just heard. The room goes into complete silence as they all share the same thoughts: Why?! What's going on?! What does he mean by true omega?! What's a true omega?!

Hobi is the first to break the silence, asking the obvious questions, "okay what the fuck?! What does this person mean by true omega?! I though those were only a myth!"

"I thought so too." Tae mumbled. Shivering just at the thought of those glowing yellow eyes, glaring into his soul.

He then hears his dad come down the stairs, when he reaches the last step, he notices the five pale looking teenagers, looking as if they had just seen the undead. "What's the matter young ones?" He asks in a caring tone.

"Dad, how did I end up on your doorstep?" His dad freezes at that question, he starts to process the words the came out of Tae's mouth.

He knew this question would come up at some point, but he didn't think it would be this soon...

Was he ready to tell his son the story? Or, a better question could be, would he be ready to hear the full truth?

"Let's all take a seat, shall we? We have some things to discuss." He then states as he goes over to the kitchen.

He goes over to the old junk drawer, opening it, then pulling out a secret compartment inside the drawer, he takes out a small white envelope. It's easy to tell how old it is, from the dust on it, to the bent corners, and even just seeing how outdated it looks.

He takes it into his possession with great care and brings it over to Tae. "Honey, this is for you."

"Who's it from dad? It looks old."

"Honey, this is from your real mother."
