POV Michael

I'm so proud of her. She just ignored all the negative people and opened her heart to others, something I never thought would happen so fast.

Miley and Sydney became inseparable. Like Sydney cares about her. It's all a game to her and Miley was too stupid to let her best friend fall for a fake one.

Like I care what she does or doesn't do with her life. I don't know the girl, but what I do know is that she has hurt Sofia terribly. And she doesn't deserve it period.

Sofia is different from most girls. She's honest, very smart, and most of all beautiful inside and out. I thought a lot about all those previous years in school. Why didn't I notice her earlier? Was I that blind all those years?

I know she was a girl that wanted to vanish into the crowd and not stand out or make herself noticeable. It's more like the opposite as she didn't go to school at all. That's a big problem though.

She still wants to disappear from school. She's a little different from other people. Saturday, I had a feeling she was trying to open up to me, to trust me. I can see it in her eyes when she's with me. The doubts and her insecurities played a huge role in her beautiful head.

I can't blame her though. I don't have a good reputation when it comes to girls. But with her everything is different. I want her to trust me. I want to get to know the real Sofia Santos, the one that has a hard time showing herself to others.

I can't deny it anymore. I want her. I want her to be mine like I need to eat and sleep. I'm consumed by her every second of the day. It evolved so quickly that I even lost my appetite when she was with me. And that's a huge problem because I can eat like a bear.

Problem or not, I'm going to figure things out with her, but I need to do it slowly. I need her to fully trust me and for that, I've my plan. Mostly I'm not a planning type, but with her, I want everything to do right and be better for her because she deserves only the best.

I patiently wait in my car, tapping my steering wheel on the beat of the music. Sofia steps out of the building with a peaceful expression. I'm happy she's found someone new at school besides me. Anne was more silent and nerdy, but she seemed nice and honest.

Sofia waves at me before taking her bike in her hand. If she says yes, she trusts me says my reasoning mind. She walks with her bike to my car. "What are you still doing here?" She questions me with a big smile. "Waiting for a girl," I tell her with a smirk.

Her brows shoot upwards in surprise, and she nervously said, "Oh okay." I knew she would think otherwise. Of course, a guy like me doesn't want a girl like her. Those were her exact words a few days ago and it made me mad. She thinks she doesn't deserve someone like me because I'm popular and rich, and she isn't. Like I fucking care about the money I have or the kids from school. They don't know me.

Only Tom is a good friend. He knows my thoughts and desires. But Sofia is still my secret. I don't want them to vise her. Tom already asked me why I spent more time with her lately, but I always brushed it off. She's just a friend nothing more. That's what I was saying every time I saw her, but I could hold that thought for a second, and then my reasonable mind flew away. I could only see her and the surrounding rest disappeared. Even when my parents called I held the conversation short. I only asked them when they would return. That's important now Sofia will be coming over this Saturday.

"I'll bring you home." I flash her my white teeth. "You were waiting for someone and now you want to give me a ride?" She asks, confusion visible on her face. She's so cute when she's all confused. "You're the girl I've been waiting for," I tell her with a big smile. That sounded too romantic. Now, I'm going to scare her away for sure.

She starts giggling. "Well, that sounded wrong." She laughs. "I know, my mistake." I chuckle. "Come hand me your bike and take a seat. I'll drive you home it's cold." I instruct her. "Are you sure?" She questions me carefully.

"Yes," I reply shortly, taking her bike in my arms and settling him in my large trunk. She takes her seat beside me and I settle myself behind the steering wheel. "Thanks, Michael, you didn't have to do that." She brags a little and gave me a very good feeling. "I know, I don't even know why I'm making my life so much harder than it already is." I tried to explain it in a serious tone but failed miserably.

"Oh poor you..." she giggles, slapping my hand playfully that was laying on the gear stick. I look at her with a raised eyebrow, knowing this was a huge step for her. She touched me voluntarily. It was playful, but I like the way we can tease each other. "I'm sorry." She shortly admits, averting her eyes from me.

"I won't bite Sofia. You can touch me if you want." I chuckle, trying to ease her nerves. She rolls her eyes and laughs at my statement. "You wish." She giggles, averting her eyes back to the side of the road.

If you knew Sofia. I want to be that three you're looking at, that gets your full attention. I know in time it will work out between us. You need time and I'll give it to you. As long as you need it, I'm going to wait. This feels special. I've never felt these strong feelings for a girl.

The girls I've been with were more playmates. A quick fuck nothing more. They all wanted more, but I wasn't the type of dating a girl. Sofia has changed that. I want to buy her everything she desires. I want her to be happy and to pleasure her. I want to give her my heart and soul because I know she won't break it. I trust her even in this early stage.

We arrive at Sofia's place. I carry her bike out of my trunk and give it back to her. "So tomorrow. Have you asked your parents?" I question her a little unsure. "Actually yes. I asked them yesterday, and they were okay with it." She admits with a small smile. "Really?" I ask her again. "Yeah." She giggled. "You seem so overwhelmed all of a sudden?" She asked boldly.

She's so mesmerizing when she's bold and stubborn. I love a girl with a fierce character because they stay true to themselves. You can't change them, it's just take it or leave it and I'm going to take that opportunity to claim her when the time is right. "No, I'm just glad you can come," I admit softly. "Me too." She smiles before getting her bike in the garage. "See you tomorrow then." She responds softly. "Yeah, and good luck with studying." I wink at her, knowing she has a French test tomorrow. "Thanks." She smiles before entering her house.

I climb in my car and drive off to another lonely night. I'm still young and this sounds so silly, but I want to move out next year. I know I've enough money for a small apartment close to college. The only thing that would keep me here and change my plans is her. She's the one that can turn my world upside down.
