I was woken to my phone ringing, I quickly opened my eyes wide seeing a FaceTime call coming from Niall. I smiled and slid my finger across the screen.

"Niall." I grin, smiling at him even though I had just woken up. His face looked stern and moody. Not what I was expecting.

"Explain." He held up his iPad which had a photo of Jack and I. Well, two. One was of us holding hands and the other was of us hugging. Where did this come from? I began to panic.

"Niall." I sighed.

"No! Explain!" He demanded.

"Niall, I haven't.. I haven't been having a very good time at college." I sighed. "And- and well, this boy was being nasty and Jack, the boy in the photo came and helped me but I hate him." I explained. I didn't really want to go into detail. I don't want Niall worrying, especially when he's so far away from me.

"Well, it doesn't look like you hate him here!" He exclaimed and I sighed.

"Niall, please, look I mean this boy shoved me and I fell and-"

"Were you okay?" He was suddenly worried.

"Yeah but Jack helped me up right so I gave him a hug when he got the other boy to leave me alone then he wanted me to go to class with him and that's when he took my hand but I said no because I was freaked out he was holding my hand like that and I left and went home." I told him.

"Why was that boy being nasty?" Niall asked me.

"Because they know about me being hired." I sighed and his expression softened.

"Oh." He sighed. "Tell me everything, come on, what are they doing to you?" He asked me.

"I don't wanna-"

"Jenny, tell me." He demanded.

"They're just like saying I am pathetic and making fun of the way I was hired and that boy who shoved me called me your slut." I told him and he looked angry.

"Who is he?" Niall asked and I saw his fists balling.

"I don't know actually, he's not in my year."

"I swear to god, saying you're a slut? If I knew him I would bash his head in." NIall sounded quite angry. "What else are they saying?"

"Well, that's about it, it was Jack who started it, so." I shrugged. "Niall, I don't want to go to college." I said.

"But hey, you've got a new friend to back you up, right?" He asked me.

"Yeah well, guess who went off with Jack yesterday when I said no." I rolled my eyes and Niall gave me a sympathetic look.

"Darlin', you're hardly going to just give up college now, you've wanted this for so long and I know how much it means to you, don't leave just because of a few jealous people." Niall said.

"Yes but the course and the work, like I find the course boring and the work is too much Niall, there's only so much I can handle." I sighed.

"You know that everything will die down within a few weeks, you won't be teased for the rest of your life." He chuckled.

"But it's hard enough trying to fit into a new college, trying to get all the work done and you know what Jack done?" I asked him and he shook his head. "Well, I was told to catch up on work so Jack said he would give me it so he wrote down what I had to do and it was a shit ton of work and I done it but I had to stay up all night, you know that night I was on FaceTime to you and I got it finished at like six in the morning, yeah? Took it into college and my lecturer says that wasn't the work and that we hadn't even covered half these concepts."
