Chapter 19: Not Alone

[ Leo POV ]

I had left Autumn in our room once I left the room I made sure to straighten up as I walked through the hallway. I was going to have to talk with the Alpha's from the Golden Moon and Green Mountain packs. I had one of my Beta's to send a formal letter to each of there packs. 

Lately we've been trying to converse about what each pack has been dealing with in the rouges up and coming attacks and threats. So far each of are packs have had a raid and attempted kidnappings. Although none were taken successfully and few were too harmed. The rouges have been gathering new followers to increase their numbers. So far as we've been able to gather we have been trying to understand their numbers have increased rapidly. I've asked all of the Alpha's of all of are packs if they approved of the plan of proceeding to try and merge another pack with ours. We've gotten the approval but only the packs of the Golden Moon and Green Mountain were the ones who were willing to come to discuss if they would like to find a way to successfully merge are packs. The Alpha of the Green Mountain pack is the one who I'm trying to comply but the Alpha of the pack of the Golden Moon is an older Alpha than either of us. Alpha Ian, is the middle aged one out of all of the Alpha's. He's a down-to-earth guy and has had his Luna for about three years. He's one of the most reasonable and wise for his age despite being younger than some of the Alpha's. 

I made my way to the entrance of the pack house and I greeted them both. They had come without their Luna's. Alpha Ian has a bit of a taller build and is slightly paler than most of the Alpha's. He's known as a very hard working Alpha when it comes to trade and diplomacy. Alpha Andrews has a track record of making my work and cooperating with other Alpha's very next to impossible. I find that Alpha Ian is the only one who is able to handle him and get him to see reason. That's why seeing as I can hardly stand having a meeting in the same room as him for three hours without loosing my mind. 

As we made are way to the room where we have are meetings and we all took are seats in front of the drawing table. We decided about an hour in that Alpha Ian wasn't going to be able to merge his pack with mine because he wants to focus on strategizing a way to find where the rouges are and how they're gathering numbers. 

I was thankful that he still wanted to discuss and strategize with us. Otherwise when we were spending an hour and a half talking about how Alpha Andrews could make plans to merge his pack with ours. But after another hour of arguing I felt myself sighing as I'd lay back in my chair. Ian rubbed the back of his neck after a while of trying to calm down a fairly stubborn Andrews. 

I honestly couldn't help feel like I just wanted this meeting to end as it felt like it was taking too long. A part of me thought about what Autumn was doing and felt myself rub my forehead and sighed slightly. ' I really need a break from all this....I want...I want to see Autumn for a while. ' 

" Honestly, why don't we wrap this up. I'll work on preparations once I return to my pack; while Alpha Ian can work on bringing some of his points up with the other Alpha's. Is it all good then men? " Alpha Andrews said seeming really bored and annoyed that the meeting had to stretch on for so long. I agreed feeling drained and Ian agreed seemingly tired of being the one to be the peace maker. We all got up from are chairs as I scrambled to grab a couple of papers into a pile off the table. I felt the empty silence of the room as I had Ron and Nick escort them out to their cars. I walked out into the halls and found myself starting to get a really bad migraine. 

I walked into our room going to put some of the papers away. I looked and noticed that Autumn was in bed still like I asked. She was awake but looked tired as I placed the papers of the notes of are meeting onto the desktop. I liked how the room was quiet in contract to the meeting. I walked over to the side of the bed she was laying on as she smiled tiredly up at me.
