Chapter 8

mallika pov:

today was very hard and busy day. I had attended for 4 continuous classes in the morning I fed up with them and I can't attend for afternoon session. So I said to faisal that I won't attend for afternoon classes and I will get notes after the class. I was roaming around the college then I got to know there is a dance hall in college. I reached the hall it is very big and surrounded by mirrors to my luck no one present there. I played some random song and started dancing. Whenever I dance I forget the world my stress and my problems. It is best way of relaxing while dancing I closed my eyes to enjoy the song. Then I saw a boy's face who is this boy ya he is same boy whom I bumped yesterday. But why I was thinking about him. His face, eyes and most killing smile and can't stop thinking about him. I stopped dancing suddenly. Why the hell I am thinking about him. Again I started dancing but again I am thinking about him soon my tension is replaced with a smile the song  completed then I heard a sound of claps. I turned around and shocked.

sumedh pov:

When I was in class then a clerk came and informed that principal sir called me and sid. so I went to meet him. He said that we should organize a fresher party. so me and sid sitting in canteen and preparing a list and details for the party.

sumedh : sid I think we are done with the details. So we need to give details to usha mam and should take names of students who are interested in competition.

sid: yes. I will do one thing I will go to library and make the copy of the list of  competitions and paste it in notice board . you go and give this details to mam. 

sumedh: ok

I gave the details of party to mam and returning to canteen then I heard some music. I don't know why I am following the sound then i saw it is coming form dance hall but who is there in dance hall in this time without wasting a second I peeped  inside the hall and got shocked to see the stunning beauty inside the hall. She is the same girl who I bumped yesterday. She is dancing and her eyes are shut closed. It seems like she is enjoying the song and going with flow. I should accept that she is an amazing dancer I don't even know when I started adoring her. Each and every move was just perfect after completion of song I clapped she saw me and got shocked.

sumedh : that's so good

mallika: th..thanks

sumedh: Actcually  why can't you participate in the dance competition conducted on Freshers day?

mallika: actually I do dance for relaxing myself I am not a professional dancer.

sumedh: but  your dance moves it doesn't seem like that you should definitely try once

mallika: okay I will think about it.

sumedh: ( he smiled and extended his hand for handshake)I am sumedh

mallika: ( hesitatingly extended her hand for handshake) I am mallika

there is silence for few minutes mallika broke the silence

mallika: actually I need to leave now It's getting late.

sumedh: yaa me to. anyways nice meeting you mallika(he smiled)

mallika: me too ( she smiled at him and went outside of the hall)

he still looking at her retreating figure rubbed his hands around his neck went out smiling himself without any reason.

Faisal:

I was trying from morning to make her understand the situation but she is not in a state of listening and along with that these classes. Actually I never ever get pissed off by studies but jann is upset with me so I can't concentrate on classes even mallika said that she can't attend the class so I should attend them. but due to god's grace ,afternoon we had only 1 class after the class I went to sid to get my new phone I quickly took it and called jann. but she didn't pickup the call. I went to her department then they said they don't have classes  afternoon. So I thought she would be at canteen and went to her and a smile came over my face when I saw my jann there. I went near her table.

Faisal: Hey jann you are here I searched the entire college for you.

Jannu: Hey Faisu na na Faisal khan nice to meet you.

Faisal: jann what happened?

Jannu: Mr. Faisal she is reem My new best friend.

reem: hii (said nervously she don't know how to react)

Faisal: hii

Jannu: so if you don't mind we need to go

Faisal: jannu I am sorry atleast listen to me na

jannu : arey Faisal why are you wasting your time here go and meet your dear cousin go and hang out same as how you did yesterday.

Faisal: jann (she cut me off)

Jannu: don't call me like that you know what I am stupid I thought you as my best friend . I gave you more preference than anyone but never thought like that. you just dumped your best friend to meet your cousin 

Faisal: jann we met each other after 4 years.

jannu: yes I know that but you should also think i am present here and at least you should have called me once no you didn't. your priorities are changed . you are not my faisu .Actually it's just waste of time to talk to you

 she start to get up and I quickly held her hand make her sit and closed her mouth and started speaking.

Faisal: Jann first listen to me . I am sorry that I shouldn't have left you here yesterday I am sorry for that .I met him after 4 years I am excited and not even think for a second to meet him while chit chatting we didn't even check the time. I thought to call you but my phone fallen down and not working I brought new phone today. Yesterday evening I came to canteen to meet you but you left. I know it became late so you left to hostel. I won't confront you for that. I know it's my fault I am telling you that I won't repeat it again and most importantly my priorities are not changed you are my first priority and always will remain like that understand.

by saying this I take off my hand from her mouth expecting her to shout are fight with me but. she hugged me very tightly I felt so happy and hugged her back.

Jannu: I am sorry I should have understand that.

Faisal: no it's my mistake to leave you like that I promise I will never do that.

we both parted from hug and sat in our places.

Jannu: so she is reem my new best friend.

Faisal: you already said and by the way nice meeting you reem.

reem: finally you both noticed that I am present here.

both blushed a little.

reem: Faisal nice meeting you . I am so eager to meet Jannu's Faisu. She said a lot about you.

Faisal: ohhh(rising his eyebrows facing towards jannu).

Jannu: I am so hungry bring some sandwitches 

Faisal: ok mam reem do you want any thing?

reem: same.

I went to bring food for her. Then went to table. There I saw mallika entering into the canteen. I said hi and said to join us.

mallika: hii 

jannu, Faisal: hi mallika

Jannu, Faisal: how do you know her?

Jannu,Faisal: I asked first.

Jannu,Faisal: don't copy my words

mallika: guys chill Faisal jannu is my room mate and jannu Faisal is my classmate.

jannu, Faisal:ohh

Jannu: so you already know him so I will introduce you to reem.

she introduced both of them. after that we had our food with some talks and day went smooth. we said bye to each other and went to our respective places. The day started with huge problem and ended with full of happiness. Today I can sleep more peacefully.
