Diagon Alley

[Chapter Four: Diagon Alley]

(Gryffindor Common Room, 6 o'clock AM)

Onyx was dressed in their clothes they came on the train with, they had their bag with them and were waiting for their Head of House, Professor McGonagall, to pick them up. They rocked back and forth on their heels as they looked around. The common room was empty, the only sounds heard were from the fireplace.

"Smith? Good, you're here, let us leave now." Professor McGonagall gestured for them to follow, which they did.

They got to Professor McGonagall's office faster than Onyx expected, McGonagall let them in then closed the door once she was in. "We'll be flooing to Diagon Alley, Simply take a handful of this, It's called 'floo powder' and say in a very clear voice where exactly you want to go then step through the floo," McGonagall explained as she brought down a pot filled with floo powder from the mantel.

Onyx took a handful of floo and threw it in the fireplace. They stepped in. "Diagon Alley." They said clearly and they disappeared. McGonagall followed them doing the same thing.

(Snape's Office, 6 o'clock AM)

Naka was waiting patiently as Professor Snape explained what they would be doing, and how to get to Diagon Alley through the floo system. "Go on now, Mr. Victor." Snape waited. Naka grabbed a handful of floo stepped inside the fireplace after throwing floo in and shouting, "Diagon Alley!"

Snape tailed him doing the same Naka had.

(Professor Sprout's office, 6 o'clock AM)

Professor Sprout finished explaining to the girl what they had to do. "Ready dear?" She asked. "Yes Professor." Mana nodded. She grabbed a handful of floo and threw it in the fireplace stepping into the green flames and saying, "Diagon Alley!"

Professor Sprout followed soon after.

(Diagon Alley, In-front of the floo system)
Jay stumbled out of the fire-place but managed to stay on their feet. Professor McGonagall walked out of the floo. "Do you still have your list of supplies Smith?" She asked. "Yes, professor." Onyx nodded. "Alright, I will get your books, You get your robes, trunk, cauldron, and potions kit," McGonagall instructed. "Yes ma'am," Jay said. McGonagall pointed out where Jay could get the stuff on the list then left to get the books from Flourish & Blotts.

The floo roared to life once more and Naka almost fell out but caught himself. "Hey, Rin." Naka waved curtly. Snape came out after him and said, "You will get your own robes, trunk, and potion supplies. I will get the books plus some for what you've missed." Naka shrugged. "Okay, Sir."

Snape told Naka what shops to go to, where they are, and where he would be if Naka needed help before going to get the books Naka would need. "Is it just a normal thing for professors to do that?" Onyx asked, amused. "I guess." Naka shrugged. Once more the floo in-front of them roared to life and Mana walked out before tripping on her own feet but caught herself. "I hate floo travel-" Mana said once she saw them.

"Same here," Naka says. Professor Sprout came out and looked over at Mana. "You know where I'll be. Please stay out of Knockturn Alley." then she quickly pointed out the stores Mana would be going to.

"Sooo- Wanna go get our uniforms together?" Naka asked. "Yeah." Onyx nodded. "Mhm." Mana agreed. "Alright, To Madam Malkin's I believe." And the trio set off to get their uniforms. "D'you think we can get casual clothes here too? And pajamas?" Naka asked. "Probably." Onyx nodded. Mana shrugged. "Hopefully."

"Hello Welcome to Madam Malkin's Robes for all Occasions, What can I do for you today?" A short stout lady with a kind smile and brown hair with matching brown eyes. "We need our school uniforms, Please. And some casual clothes and pajamas if you don't mind." Onyx answered for the three after the younger two refused to talk. 

"Oh of course dears, you can look around well I go get your robes. Are you all sorted already?" The woman asked. "Yes ma'am, I'm Slytherin, Onyx, the one with the shortest hair, is in Gryffindor, and Mana, the other one, is in Hufflepuff." Naka nods.

"Thank you, dearies." She smiled and went off. The three found some sleepwear they liked along with casual clothes (though they looked formal to them they were the closest they could get) and a few nice robes just in case (though Onyx and Naka protested.) Finally, Madam Malkin came back with robes. "Upon the stools dear, We need to fit them on you." And they did, for the next ten minutes. "There we go, That'll be 125 galleons, 2 sickles, and 5 knuts each." She said as she bagged them using magic.

The three all pulled out their wallets each handing her the amount. "Thank god for magic, And the side accounts for cases like ours." Naka had muttered under his breath to the other two. Once they finished they found the things they were told to, they purchased them and packed them into the trunks in-front of Flourish & Blotts before the Professors came out with all the needed books plus some. 

They dropped them into the open trunks neatly. "Off we go then," McGonagall said and they all headed towards Ollivanders shop.
