Chapter Twenty

*Adelyn's POV*
Yay! It's the weekend. I finally get to show my dad Eli. He said he's happy to meet him hopefully he doesn't kill him! I'm really happy though because if my dad trusts him I can go out places and don't have to live in this horrible place. I mean it's nice and all but if you live in it for a while.... You'll get sick of it and I am really sick of it. It is 10:00am and my dad is going to get to see Eli at 11... I mean I am in Sweatpants and a Sweatshirt I don't need to dress up for boys. And even if I did dress up for boys I wouldn't dress up for Eli.
I really hope my dad likes Eli cause if he doesn't he will tell me that I can't be friends with him and that I can't hang out with him anymore. But that can't happen because Eli helps me with all of my problems and makes me laugh everyday. Michael makes me laugh alot..... Michael's a whole different story compared to Eli. I just eat then I wait for Eli to text me telling me that he is on his way or is here.
*10 minutes later*
best friend😝: I'm here let me in!!
Me: I'm coming calm yourself
Best friend😝: .............

I walk down the stairs.
And then I hear some one knocking on the door.

Are you serious? He needs to wait a second it doesn't mean I'm just going to jump out of bed to let you in my house right away. It's like in the morning you can't just jump out of bed... My dad is in the kitchen waiting for Eli to get here. "When is Eli going to be here?" he asks. "he's outside our door" I say going to open the door. "Oh crap" he says running to the couch and turning on the tv. Because when someone comes to see us we act like we're not too excited to see them here. Because it would be creepy if they walk in the house and your in the kitchen and are like "HIIIII!!!" it's kinda.... Uhhh what's the word.... Creepy because your walking into the house too see someone staring at you when you walk in. I open the door and see.... Eli and......

Michael? What is he doing here?

"H-hi Michael" I say. "Hey Adelyn" Eli and Michael say.

"hi come in" I say. I turn around to see my dad behind me and I bump into him. I see Eli and Michael have worried looks on their faces. Probably because I bumped into him. "Hi I'm Richard. Which one is Eli and which one is Michael." My dad says. "I'm Michael" and "I'm Eli" is their answers while their raising their hands to tell my dad which one is which. I wasn't excepting Michael to be here... "Adelyn told me a lot about you too. You guys sound like really good friends." My dad stated. They talked and talked and I think my dad likes them.
