*Adelyns's POV*
I wake up the next morning to a nurse in the room just standing their writing on her clipboard. "oh your awake" she says. I look at her name tag on her shirt and her name was Shannon. "We were waiting for you to wake up! If you want to leave today you can but be really careful!" she says. "Ok" I say. She smiles and unhooked all the machines that are attached to me so I couldn't move. I got ready then I asked Eli if he could give me a ride home. Why I didn't call Michael?.... One because I feel so bad that he had to go through all of this with me and he helped me alot two Eli's seats are comfy.
"So... Your dad is abusing you again......" he said kinda worried. "HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?!" I yell jumping up but sitting back down because my ribs hurt. "Michael.." he says. I just say another ok and look out the window....
*Next day*
I woke up and saw a note on my bed it read
Dear Adelyn,
Sorry im not home right now the cops will find me and arrest me. We don't want that to happen do we? No. I didn't think so. But I am at a hotel far away so they can't find me. Your friends are in danger... Except for Eli.. He is a nice kid don't have to worry about him the most you have to worry about is.......
And that's all what it said. Oh great please don't be Michael... That's all I need... Is Michael getting hurt. That can't happen.
