Chapter Nineteen

After school I went to the hospital the hospital called my mom and said "He might not make it" I was in tears. I am sad and kinda happy at the same time... Sad because he is dying and he is my dad. And I'm happy because all the pain he caused me can be no more. I am more sad then happy. I go to the hospital and go up to 30B and look through the door window. I don't see him.... I run down stairs and see mom smiling.. Is he dead? Why is she smiling? "Your dad is coming home with us!" She says. "Mom... What if he hurts me again?" I say. " I don't know honey... I don't know.." She says. I see dad walking out of the elevator and walk over to us. "Hey bish" he says to me quietly so my mom doesn't hear.

"Your better?" I say ignoring the fact he called me a bish.

"Better then ever!" He says. He goes over to my mom and their kissing and hugging. I puke inside my mouth. "Excuse me their is other people in here they don't need to see your PDA" the lady at the front desk says. I mentally laughed. When we get home I text Eli obviously because he is like an older brother.

Me: Hey Elias
Best friend😝: Hey what's up? Is your dad better?
Me: Yeah he is out of the hospital.
Best friend😝: that's good to know.
"ADELYN?!" My mom yells.
Me: I got to go sorry...

I run downstairs to see my mom and dad talking. "Adelyn" my dad says.
"Y-yeah dad?" I ask.
"I'm so sorry!" I say noticing that I called him dad
"It's fine!" He says nicely.
"So... Me and your mom were deciding that I could tell you something's about me and you can maybe tell me." He says.
I nod.
"My name is not Mike it is Richard. My favorite color is Black. I have 2 other daughters witch died in a plane with their mom. And I am truly am really sorry about everything I am gonna change." He says.
"My favorite color is Neon Pink. My favorite animal is Turtles. I have a iPhone 6.... please don't get mad. I have friends witch names are Natalie,Emma,Lukas and Michael and this kid named Eli who is like an older brother witch you should meet and Michael is my best friend." I say.
"I would love to meet all of them mostly Eli" he says.
My mom knows about Eli a lot. I never really wanted to tell my dad about Eli cause he would kill him and me.
Literally.
