I turn around to see Michael behind me. "Ahh! Michael thanks for the phone and thanks for scaring me!" I say while I punch him lightly on the shoulder. "Oww!" He says while rubbing his shoulder. "So I see you met Natalie." He says still rubbing his shoulder.

Dramatic much?

How did he know Natalie?
Is she his ex girlfriend too?
Does she like Michael?
So. Many. Questions.
"Adelyn?" Natalie asks. "Are you ok?" She asks. "How do you know each other?" I ask. "We uhh kinda dated.." Michael says while scratching the back of his neck.
Well that answered my question.
*Natalie's pov*
I used to like Michael.
But we're still friends
I'm pretty sure he likes Adelyn
But Adelyn seems like she had a ruff past...
The past doesn't really bother me.

And I wanna be best friends with her

Hopefully nothing can break us apart.
She is really nice.
And she is really pretty
And Adelyn seems like a really cool girl to be friends with.
And I can tell she likes Michael.
But here comes Michael's best friends Eli and Lukas.
*Adelyn's pov*
"Hey man!" Lukas says. "What's up talking to your lady friend?" Eli says Wiggling his eyebrows. I feel blush rising to my cheeks. "Aww is Adelyn blushing?" Lukas says.
How do they know my name?
"Your probably thinking how we know your name. Michael talks about you a lot." Eli says. I was about to say something

Then the bell rings. Stupid bell always interrupting me.

Science here we come as in we I mean me and Michael.

*In science*
I sit down next to my Science partner Emma she is really nice. "Hi Adelyn!" Emma says to me. "Hi! Do you know this girl named Natalie?" I ask. "Yes I do were best friends maybe we can all be best friends together!" She says. "Yeah Natalie seems really cool!" I say.
But one thing.... My dad's gonna kill me..
*At Michael's house*
•Michael's pov•
"Dude I can so tell you like her!" Eli says. "Yeah me too! Try to make a move!" Lukas says. "I can't" I say while sitting down huffing. "Why not?" Eli asks. "Because. She has like this past thing that I can't know about and I get it but I need to earn her trust." I say. "Well when you find out tell us." Lukas says. "I can't" I say. "You can't a lot of things dude. If it's bad we need to help her. But maybe we can earn her trust." Eli says. I was going to say something but then my dad walks in. "Guys it's time to go home" my dad says. My dad always makes them leave at 11:30pm when it's school nights. "Bye dude!" They both say. "Bye!" I say.

What is her past.....?
I like Adelyn a lot and I want to help her...

*At Adelyn's house*
*Adelyn's pov*
My dad's making me stay home from school today so he can watch me which probably means take his anger out on me...
Oh great.
"Adelyn!!" My dad's yells.
"Yeah?" I yell.
"I got food!" He says.
I run down the stairs and guess what..
I tripped again...
Like always..
I start eating but then I felt sick.
"Haha that food is so old!" He says.
That sick guy he's so lucky I DON'T call the cops on him!
I run to my bathroom and puke my guts out.
Why me?
Why out all the people in the world why me?
Why?
I don't know.
I don't care anymore.
I feel lost.
I just want someone I can talk to all the time with no worries.

Maybe I can trust Michael..
And Natalie...
And Emma....
I don't know...
