Chapter fifteen

*The next day at school*
I walk to my locker as always and I see Michael. "Hey Michael!" I yell. He looks at me then walks away. What? I go and look for him. "Michael?!" I yell. I swear when something good to me happens something BAD has to happen to me... "Michael why aren't you talking to me?!" I yell. By this point I am really mad. "Don't you get it?! I DON'T LIKE YOU!!" He yells in my face. By this point people are surrounded by us. I just stood their frozen. The one person who helped me through everything just left.
*Natalie's POV*
"Don't you get it I don't like you!!" Is all I am thinking right now. And I know that voice it is Michael... Oh no. Please, please,please don't be Adelyn. I can't see over these stupid people. I push through all of them. And I am way past mad now all I see is a guilty looking Michael and a sad, broken Adelyn.
"Adelyn?!" I say. "Are you alright?" I say again. Well obviously not her crush just said he doesn't like her. I let go of Adelyn and walk over to Michael. "I swear if you touch or look at Adelyn ever again you will not be able to have kids" I say to Michael. (Okay maybe I shouldn't of put that....😂) Then I grab Adelyn and bring her to Gym.
*Adelyn's POV*
Why?
I just want to die.
I want to go in a hole.
Kill me now.
•At Gym•
I am running then I see Eli come through the doors. "Hi Eli!!" I yell. "Hey!!" He yells then catches up to me. "Hey.. Um I heard about ya know Michael and I'm sorry he kinda uhh had a bad morning." Eli says. "Worse then all my mornings?.. No" I mumble not to quietly because Eli heard me. "Ok what's this past thing come on I want to help." He says. Well at least Eli's here. " I-I uhh..." I say. "Come on spit it out!" He says. "ELI!! ADELYN! I don't know what your doing but keep running!" I hear Mr.Matthew yell to us.
"I get abused by my dad and it gets really bad..." I say. Then he just completely stops and five kids bump into him. I stop running. "Eli?!" I say. "Y-you what?" He asks. Come on I don't feel like saying it again! "I get abused... By my dad..." I say. "I'm so sorry!" Eli says and runs to hug me. "ADELYN AND ELI IF YOUR GOING TO JOKE AROUND GO SIT OUT!!" Mr.Matthew yells. So I gladly go sit out with Eli.

This kid could be really fun to hang out with.

*After Gym*
•Michael's POV•
I'm so stupid! Uhh. I don't know what happened I just told Adelyn that I don't like her/Hate her! Way to go.
*3rd person POV*
Michael went to go apologize to Adelyn but when he saw Eli and her talking he didin't go apologize. Meanwhile Adelyn is having a blast with Eli. No, she doesn't like Eli like that. She just wants a friend and wants to have a real smile and Eli helps her with that. Adelyn doesn't want to be at school but she has to but she has to go home and face her dad. She is praying that her mom is their.
*Adelyn's POV*

Yes, I'm not going to lie Eli is like an older brother right now. He is super nice and he made a promise actually two. One to protect me and two is too keep his promise. I really hope so but I really don't want Eli in the hospital because he is like the one who really listens to what I have to say and cares a lot. Even though Natalie and Emma care. I would say Eli cares the most about this.
